Re: Is anyone building Eden at Skye - Stage 4 246Jun 20, 2011 9:13 pm Hello! Just a quick question do you guys have obscure glazing to your bathrooms,WC and ensuite? Its just we opted and paid for the WC and Bathroom and now on our house the ensuite is too but we didnt pay for it... so we are wondering did we get charged when infact its included? or we got a bonus glazed window? Thanks in advance! Our pivot front door and our door handle was in as well so happy with it!!!
we have brought up an down lights for the front of the house and off the side of the dinning an stainless steel flood lights off the outdoor room and laundry. Me are my other half an doing all the decking , landscaping an other concreting ourself cant wait gonna be so much fun. Brought some timber decking samples in the weekend an trying out stains to try an match our bi part doors! Think we found new couches in the weekend and found our letter box as well an some nice timber doors to replace our pantry an couple of internal doors! very productive weekend! Natti where did you get your couches from ? We left out cabinet handles out an got all our handles seperately all for 100 bucks (kitchen, desk, ensuite, bathroom pantry, linen) insteed of upgrading for like 300 hundy for what we wanted! Fill we just going to put a small retaining wall along the back and fill the back to its flush. Landscaping isnt cheap just make sure you shop around. the more you can do yourself the more you save. also we just paid our lock up invoice today and got the fix invoice in the post yesterday! they are flying through everything!! Re: Is anyone building Eden at Skye - Stage 4 248Jun 20, 2011 9:29 pm Melissa we didnt get any of your windows obsure i think you got one for free maybe.. hopefully they didnt charge you for it but id check your colour shedule you signed off on what was on there. Re: Is anyone building Eden at Skye - Stage 4 249Jun 21, 2011 10:30 am We got our couch from Just Furnishing in Mitcham, we meet them at the Home1 show an then we went on the w.e to put money down on it an somehow walked out buying a hall table, dinnning table, side table an partner wants to go back for the buffet haha.. we are so happy with our furniture though, there holding it for us untill we move in an we got them to chuck in free delivery. We want to our decking ourself do you think we could work it out? We have never done it before or seen maybe we will need to you tube lol. Re: Is anyone building Eden at Skye - Stage 4 251Jun 21, 2011 1:49 pm not yet but i think my partner wants to go bunnings and pick up a few things, random qn but where are you putting your clothesline? We want to put it down the side an made it 1.6m to place a clothesline down there but a few ppl have said we may not get enough sun not sure if you have a better idea? Re: Is anyone building Eden at Skye - Stage 4 252Jun 21, 2011 2:27 pm we are putting the clothes line down behind bedroom 3 plus we relocated the hotwater unit down to the ensuite so we have the whole wall of bed 3. I dont think it matters really as in winter you dont use much (well we dont really as its too wet) we just use a clothes horses etc as it easy enough to bring in an out if it rains and in summer its warm enough anyways so doesnt matter. plus its out of the way behind bed 3 also you can screen/fence it off so the dogs dont get to it too! we have one in similar place in the house we are now and its fine. Re: Is anyone building Eden at Skye - Stage 4 253Jun 21, 2011 3:39 pm We have a spoodle and a cavoodle we got our outside lights in the pkg and our windows are all obscured in the bathrooms / toilets (just part of the service hoping the plumbing and maybe even the bloody slab is down this week - lets hope the weather holds - fingers crossed everyone! Re: Is anyone building Eden at Skye - Stage 4 254Jun 22, 2011 7:19 pm we are putting the clothes line at the back of bed three as well - it should get morning and arvo sun all year round, if we put it to the side not much at all! Re: Is anyone building Eden at Skye - Stage 4 255Jun 24, 2011 10:02 am morning all, this may be a silly question an we tried reading it in our contract but no luck, do you know if we are able to have our fence come down to the end of our drive way between our neighbours an us? I understand that the 1.8m fence must stop before the facade but does this mean we can have it coming down so it serpates our garden from the neighbours? From reading the contract it doesnt look like it but i hope we can ??? Re: Is anyone building Eden at Skye - Stage 4 257Jun 24, 2011 12:07 pm I always thought we would BUT actually come to think about it me and hubby had the same cono the other day as i pulled my out my developers approval they sent us and whoever signed it off had marked out our boundary but stopped at the facaed and highlight that we need a 1.8mt exposed capped timber fence so maybe not.... I might query the SS tonight as we have an appointment at the house!!! Soooo excited havent been able to see all week! I also rang CS yesterday as we wernt sure if telephone connection was included otherwise you need to pay for trenching etc and she said with the freedom range its included thanks god! so were all ok then! Re: Is anyone building Eden at Skye - Stage 4 259Jun 24, 2011 2:00 pm thats so excitting it will be built before you know it, I still cant belive that our house is pretty much done in like 4 months.
