Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 2346Jul 10, 2011 8:47 pm Thats what I was trying to explain earlier. It only states that the fence has to compliment the house design. Does not say masonry pillars. And I don't see anybody being forced to redo their fence if it didn't comply. Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 2347Jul 10, 2011 8:53 pm Yeah I might still do some masonry and carry it to the front but add some gates at the rear side for access to the backyard. Now I have a C/B roof so I should be able to use CB right?? that would compliment the house design HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I went outside once. The graphics were alright, but the gameplay sucked! Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 2348Jul 10, 2011 8:59 pm You've got glass windows, yeah? Why not a clear glass fence so the world can see you sun baking on a hot summers day.... Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 2350Jul 10, 2011 9:16 pm Yer the guidelines are so broad MW & infocus, apparently, and this is only going on the phone conversation I had with the sales office, you are required to follow the materials noted on your landscape plan, but I don't think that's been happening by the looks of thing when driving around the estate. Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 2351Jul 10, 2011 9:28 pm hi guys from my observations i think most people haven't gone with their original landscape design, i don't think we will either. It will come down to how much money is left over after the build and how much work i can get out of my mates. As for corner block fences i have seen 1 plain wooden fence i wonder if anyone is going to tell them to pull it down Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 2352Jul 10, 2011 9:32 pm We are going brick & lapped timber as we need to retain about 500mm, and run the lower brick wall around to the front to the letter box. In our view it's the best way to go, though it's going to cost a motza, but will look better in the end. probably add value to the house also. Hate bent treated pine fencing Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 2353Jul 10, 2011 9:36 pm Hi richandkat Yer if I didn't have to retain soil I would just go timber, so much cheaper, it's about 9k for brick and probably 3k for timber, big difference. Re: Anyone building at George's Fair, Moorebank? 2359Jul 11, 2011 6:07 pm Hi Dreamgirl it is also on the realestate.com.au website if you search for all property in Moorebank and I believe there are signs out the front. There is a 70% rental return g'tee so I dare say one of the clauses would be that you rented it back to the sales office so that they could continue conducting business until a certain date.
