Love your grey tones- we have similar taste ![]() How did you get on with the laminate flooring? I love the 1st one in your most recent post - it seemed to have more grey tones .. Just curious do you think the elegance pkg was worth the extra 18k? Any info would be great. Cheers - Bre ![]() I personally think it's worth it because it had the items I wanted like the high ceilings, big appliances, higher tiling in bathrooms and the different vanities.. It was also a must for me because of the $3000 package to add the ducted air.. It's all up to personal preference though ![]() Re: My First Build - Coral Homes Noosa 20 - Jordan Springs 223Jun 30, 2015 10:04 pm Thanks Ash - it will also come to down to price for me too so hopefully it is doable! I had a look at the elegance pkg online and it pretty much included everything I would like to upgrade so it might work out better that way. Do you mind me asking how much over the base price the build cost you? From the figures I've roughly got from coral on the designer it's about 60k (with fixed site costs & basic) but without fencing ducted turf etc Re: My First Build - Coral Homes Noosa 20 - Jordan Springs 224Jul 06, 2015 6:52 pm Hi ash love the noosa design. Your floor plan is quite similar to mine, love your choices, can't wait to see some more pics ![]() Re: My First Build - Coral Homes Noosa 20 - Jordan Springs 229Jul 18, 2015 4:06 pm Congraats Ash!!! ![]() And well done on the valuation, that's my biggest fear right now.. You'll be having a slab party soon! Have you heard when the builder will be starting on your site? Re: My First Build - Coral Homes Noosa 20 - Jordan Springs 230Jul 27, 2015 5:17 pm Thanks everyone ![]() Re: My First Build - Coral Homes Noosa 20 - Jordan Springs 232Aug 03, 2015 9:15 pm Ahhhhh I just want my build to start, I had a set back with changing my plans to suit an easement that came up in registration, coral originally deleted my eaves which I rejected so I've ended up making my garage narrower by 5cm... Luckily it's not much and my garage was a good size to start with.. It's not going to make a huge difference but I can keep my eaves, thank god! I'm working away for work in a regional area so it's hard to get a printer grrr! I just want to sign it off and get it to the certifier! ![]() I can't fault my cso, she's just amazing! Dealing with her has honestly been a breeze, I feel like she's on my side ![]() In other news I bought a couch for my lounge room (not the main living area) it was from super Amart and was $600 off! It's soooo comfy, I can't wait to lay on it and watch movies! I have my eye on an ikea lounge for the main area ![]() Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: My First Build - Coral Homes Noosa 20 - Jordan Springs 233Aug 29, 2015 7:12 pm ![]() I've still got a few things to buy for the house, I have the above lounge and wooden furniture being held by super Amart but I've narrowed my list the the below items I still need: Lounge - ikea has one I love French door fridge Desk - (partner is a teacher and I work from home sometimes) Desk - chair Large TV - for second lounge room More linen - I have almost no towels and sheets Pendant lights x 3 - for over kitchen island Queen or double bed and mattress - for spare room Large chest of drawers/dressing table - for master Bedside tables - for master Outdoor table and chairs setting - i love entertaining so quality is super important Clothesline - one that folds, I don't want anything too huge Letterbox - potentially will ask the brickies to do a cash job and get it rendered same as house Re: My First Build - Coral Homes Noosa 20 - Jordan Springs 234Aug 29, 2015 7:54 pm Thanks sucks Ash. What is your builder saying?? Re: My First Build - Coral Homes Noosa 20 - Jordan Springs 235Aug 29, 2015 9:44 pm Shame they haven't started building yet ![]() Great couch though! And nice bargain. Super Amart have some great furniture!! It's nice that they will hold it for you too. And omg did you say 80k over base price! Wow. I'm only 15k over. I'm wondering if your base price is a lot less, but the upgrades cost more or something. Re: My First Build - Coral Homes Noosa 20 - Jordan Springs 236Aug 30, 2015 8:29 pm Builder is saying that they're just waiting for the approvals... I feel that it could have been organised much smoother.. Thanks Dawn, I love the couch, it's like a big cloud! Yeah around that.. My base didn't include the driveway, site costs, alfresco concrete, bushfire requirements and my other upgrades.. They all add up I guess.. The site costs and driveway are the big ticket items... Re: My First Build - Coral Homes Noosa 20 - Jordan Springs 237Aug 31, 2015 7:36 am Hey Ash I feel your frustration! We were waiting on council (or private certifier) approval for 9 weeks! And went weeks on end without any information from Coral. It was so frustrating! It felt like they weren't doing anything. Things only started happening when I started complaining louder. Haha Follow my build of the Avoca 25 - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=79262 Re: My First Build - Coral Homes Noosa 20 - Jordan Springs 238Aug 31, 2015 5:29 pm What a pain.. hopefully they start soon. Oh that makes sense, those things are included in my base price. My most expensive upgrade is double glazing and 2.7m high ceiling at $2.8k each. ![]() Re: My First Build - Coral Homes Noosa 20 - Jordan Springs 239Sep 03, 2015 10:58 pm I'm so happy to have found this thread.
