We are expecting the internal walls of the garage to be bricked right up to the roof of second storey (so no form of cladding anywhere on second storey external walls) but are confused as to how they will do this now that the garage trusses and roof is on, there is a gap but some parts (cross rails & flashing) are butting almost right up to the framework . Can you please check your plans when you get a chance - just want to see whether the cladding is identified on your plans. There is nothing but face brickwork marked on ours for the most part - see pics below. I will email our BC but thought someone here may be able to shed some light. Who's your colour girl? lol We got Rhonnie hope he/she is good haha ... We like the greys and white too but still confused with it all. I was looking at Mirz's house tone liking the warm scheme too! ahh confusion! I went into Cosham a few weeks ago and bumped into Rhonnie. Found her to be really helpful and seems to have a real passion for interior design. Thanks Michael! Hopefully she'll be helpful Sahara Q1 - Final Count Down 2023Apr 16, 2015 9:20 pm sassid Hi Mirz, the husband has made me have a slight panic attack at the moment. Re: Sahara Q1 - Final Count Down 2024Apr 16, 2015 9:24 pm Izzyb Mirz have you measured your island bench top? What's the overall dimension of the stone top? Building the Sahara Q3 with Henley Do you mean comparing measurements between actual and planed? Re: Sahara Q1 - Final Count Down 2025Apr 16, 2015 9:25 pm Kathyclaude2006 Hi Mirz. Looks stunning!! How do you manage to get in? Have you got a set of keys? Thanks Kathy, no I don't have any keys. It's just a small secret. Re: Sahara Q1 - Final Count Down 2026Apr 16, 2015 9:33 pm I'm not sure what's the purpose of NHP when house isn't ready or presentable. If we are going there to mark 150 things to be rectified out of 50 already raised via email, what's the point? It would be a miracle on Monday if house would be complete and fully presentable. Everyone looking forward to build, all the very best. Just remember it's your house and you would be paying it off for a long time. So don't let anyone ruin this experience and joy. Have fun and enjoy your ride . Re: Sahara Q1 - Final Count Down 2027Apr 16, 2015 9:40 pm Hi Sassid, Based on the plans definable looks all brick to me. When cladding is used, they normally use the the dotted pattern and mention with an arrow that its rendered foamboard etc. The other thing you can do is look at your floor plans (birds eye view). if the pattern used to signify brick on the external walls is the same pattern used on the garage walls (rear and side wall adjacent to corridor) then that would signify brick. When brick is not used on the internal garage wall, the wall just looks like any other internal wall on the floor plans. ------------------------------------------- Build Thread - Mainvue Emporio ER430 KDR https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76790&p=1332227&hilit=mainvue#p1332227 Re: Sahara Q1 - Final Count Down 2028Apr 16, 2015 9:42 pm Awesome crisis averted - thanks Mirz & Michael sassid ...building the Emporio with MainVue/Henley BLOG: http://thewaldorfproject.blogspot.com.au/ HOMEONE THREAD : https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75753 Re: Sahara Q1 - Final Count Down 2029Apr 17, 2015 9:20 am Question of this morning: Are we there yet?
