Seriously, all the changes you made, and upgrades really came together nicely. Love the warmth the floors and bathroom cabinets give I completely forgot it was you that were doing that kitchen splashback. It's what we ended up choosing (but we are doing a grey grout) Seeing your kitchen photo is letting me see how ours will look hahah, as we did polar white cabinets (regular fronts though) and oyster AND we are doing 1/4 brume. Although yours is the slighty more upper class sister to ours haha are you doing cabinet handles after handover? or have they just not been fitted yet Re: Coral Homes - Modified Grange 29 205Apr 22, 2018 9:52 am CC7 your house is soooo beautiful! Oh no way! We were tossing up between grey and white grout also!! I didnt want to clean white grout :/ but the lady told us to get grout sealer and we'd be fine. Yep we're doing our own handles - coral didnt have the ones we wanted. They make you do bathroom tiling selections first, kitchen last, and during bathroom we realised the marble we wanted in the kitchen was going to be a huge pain (and costly) so we did it in the bathroom as a second prize haha, then when we did our kitchen selections the woman told us about the tile you picked, and now i have no idea if the marble will be worth it in the bathroom. We shall see, it's the only thing I'm feeling uneasy about, that and the render colour to the front - but that can always be repainted your handles look really great, good choice doing them after. Re: Coral Homes - Modified Grange 29 207Apr 22, 2018 1:42 pm Looks amazing. Not long now. It's such a lovely area to live in. Yes i do remember your small marble splashback tiles - i know theyll look awesome in your ensuite! Theyre so pretty! Im thinking if your grey grout looks good in your kitchen, i could even get the tiles re-grouted?! Just a thought for later on after i buy all the stuff i need to buy and compleye the never ending list of things to do 😒 ill keep a close watch on your build - i need to see that grey grout so i can regret my choice of white grout 😂 Re: Coral Homes - Modified Grange 29 211Apr 23, 2018 9:09 am Dylandbrooke CC7 Dylandbrooke Thats so cool - your kitchen will look similar to ours ... obviously you have great taste haha. We went with white for the marble in the bathroom though on her suggestion, so maybe she'll be right about one of them I'm hoping the marble will be worth it, if family/friends don't comment on it i'll be like 'hey, hey, hey see that marble!? look at it, comment on it please' hahah Re: Coral Homes - Modified Grange 29 212Apr 23, 2018 2:30 pm cc7 i bet ill love your grey grout. I have an inspo pic that has grey grout and it looks a lot more stylish than the white! I agree, the light grey grout would be better. Ask your tiler when you meet him onsite! LOL i do that with all my house things... if people dont comment on them, i ask if they've seen it... just to make sure 😂 Re: Coral Homes - Modified Grange 29 214Apr 30, 2018 1:06 pm PCI went great! There were only very minor painting issues that we found, and a leaking gutter to be resealed. We weren't happy with the main shower having 2 seperate pieces of glass - but Our SS sounded reluctant to do anything about it (even though our tender has 'L shaped glass' 😫 he said they mustn't be able to do that shape of glass... which is rubbish. Anyway, handover is on Friday!!!!!! 🤗 Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Coral Homes - Modified Grange 29 215Apr 30, 2018 1:09 pm Dylandbrooke PCI went great! It doesn't look bad, but it isn't what you expected. I will definitely drop by once you are in. Just have to walk around the block. Have you seen the other Corals going up in your street? We're actually going to get semi frameless glass - we have a friend who is a glazier and he said he'd come and change it for us... who knows when that'll be though! We hate how chunky the frames are!!!! Yes, come and have a look! We've got soooo much to do after handover 😫 i need to win lotto so i can complete it all! There are quite a few coral builds going up now! I think there are four on our street now 🤔 Re: Coral Homes - Modified Grange 29 217Apr 30, 2018 1:54 pm Dylandbrooke bestspecials Dylandbrooke PCI went great!
