Shouldn't take them that long though...anything earlier is a bonus! Oh absolutely! At least now we have something to work towards Kemdie22 I have a similar time frame 143 days. I hope they get through our houses faster than that! I'm in the same position- we have moved in with my grandparents with our two kids and cats in a 3 bedroom house. I'm starting to feel really squished in and at times want to walk outside and scream lol. But I am grateful that I have a great family. _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Our Forever home - Coral Homes Noosa 26 at West Wallsend 202May 01, 2016 5:27 pm Great news on your start date! Please dont even mention changing render colours lol 5 months is too long between choosing colours and starting to build, Im second guessing everything ! Im thinking about asking to change to black tapware... I know they are going to lecture me about it lol _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Our Forever home - Coral Homes Noosa 26 at West Wallsend 210May 03, 2016 3:31 pm Hopefully within the next few days I can confirm what happens with the painter directly! SS is just waiting on them to contact him with their start day and then we will get the details. I just really hope he doesn't already have all the paint either!!! Never considered changing there render...,to be honest I think my husband would divorce me if I even suggested it lol Re: Our Forever home - Coral Homes Noosa 26 at West Wallsend 211May 04, 2016 10:15 am Sorry ryalls only just saw this post. I would imagine you can change with the painter directly but just let your SS know what you're planning so they can flag it with the painter when they book him so that he doesn't go and mix up the wrong colour. I'm even going to be so specific as to ask him not to buy it from bunnings because we have seen sample swatches of paint mixed by bunnings vs the sample chip vs paint mixed at a paint shop and wow- scary results. No wonder I carried on for 5 years after we paints our last place that hubby has purchased the wrong colour! C U S T O M. C O R A L. My partner picked the render colour and I never wanted it but he was so sure about it. The colour of cement or whatever is it they have rendered the poles in looks really good as it matches the mortar. I want to get them to paint it the same colour and partner agreed it looks good. See what happens! I wonder if you can change something like that without a fee? Re: Our Forever home - Coral Homes Noosa 26 at West Wallsend 213May 05, 2016 12:43 pm Woohoo they are cutting down the trees on our block...
