I like the undermount sink in kitchen. Was that an upgrade ? Also, just looked at your facade. It looks like Oxford similar to what we are also looking for. But the Trimdek roof on top of garage is not what we are getting. Was that upgrade too? Re: Our Fairmont 34 by Clarendon in Brisbane 28Jul 26, 2016 10:18 am I don't need a house anymore, I can just move into your WIR. Lovely choices. I wish I could have this home. It's certainly a forever home. Can't wait to follow it being built. Re: Our Fairmont 34 by Clarendon in Brisbane 29Jul 27, 2016 2:48 pm What are you plans for your kitchen/butlers? Did you leave the kitchen as standard? I can't decide whether to leave the fridge and the little space of bench and cupboards beside it or to change it all completely. Are you doing a butlers pantry after handover? We got quoted $3300 to put cupboards, stone and overheads in that spot. You get the Trimdek on certain house designs with the oxford facade. Some of the designs don't have it (like the Sheridan) Re: Our Fairmont 34 by Clarendon in Brisbane 31Jul 28, 2016 6:37 pm Love your colour selections!! Wow $4000 is an awesome price for your size walk in robe. We have had two quotes, first was $2500 and second is $3000. The builder wanted to charge $6000. We are going with the $3000 quote, they were the most detailed and informative. Is that cedar lining in the alfresco? We have it in ours, just wish I made the alfresco bigger! Our dream home viewtopic.php?t=75306 We are going to do the portico and Alfresco ceiling after handover in a cladding I found from masters. I think I had a link on my blog. Can't wait for our robe to go in! Re: Our Fairmont 34 by Clarendon in Brisbane 33Jul 30, 2016 1:01 pm 1st time builders What are you plans for your kitchen/butlers? I have been to Ikea and am liking their kitchens. I was going to change the little bench space into a microwave tower thing but I was so over everything and didn't want to think about redesign at the colour consultation. I've saved some pics on my Pinterest and Instagram but I think we might do a black sink and black tap with white bench tops. I think next is bricks but there are none on site and I heard there's a delay with brick layers. Hopefully they will continue inside. The air con guys let us in for a little look so I took a few pics. Walk in robe - now I see how massive it is, I should have moved the wall over a bit and made the upstairs living area bigger Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Our massive window in our living room. They start today (Friday) and will be finished Tuesday. While we were talking the main Clarendon guy showed up to check everything that's finished so far and then a bit later my site supervisor came by so we had an impromptu meeting. Staircase goes in in about 2 weeks, cornices next week sometime, cabinetry will go in after stairs and then waterproofing. He is estimating we will have a tile meeting in about 4 weeks so I can go over the tile direction etc before they start to lay. Not sure how long after tiles till handover but fingers crossed its this year!!! Here's some pics... Bricks are mostly done, second level to go up next week. Our big window got installed sometime this week. Loving the big brick pillars in our Alfresco. Went past this morning and our exterior is painted. Will go by tonight and sneak inside to see what's been going on inside. Here's our exterior, not loving it to be honest. The bricks don't really look great against the cladding. Oh well no changing now Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ BLOG- adore our abode – our hamptons inspired home https://adoreourabode.wordpress.com/ My build thread - Fairmont 34 Clarendon viewtopic.php?t=82035 Re: Our Fairmont 34 by Clarendon in Brisbane 40Sep 23, 2016 8:01 pm Just got home from a quick night look so pics were taken with a flash in darkness.
