The point of the spray is so you don't have to keep wetting the concrete every hour to stop it from cracking. So it doesn't speed the curing but actually slows it down. I didn't get a chance to visit the property in the mornings and when I reach after work been really dark. Our brickwork has been bit slow over the last few weeks due to the weather. I got an email from CLO confirming the plate height is expected to be completed this week. We got our independent inspection booked for Friday. CLO confirmed the Roof framework is scheduled for 15th June. Hopefully everything will be moving quicker once the roof is up. We got our independent inspection done on friday. The inspector identified few issues that need to be sorted but nothing too major. Looks like the bricklayer forgot roof straps in some places. Apparently it has to be spaced at 1.2m apart. Also missing flashings in some place which need to sorted. Glad we are doing the independent inspection done at all stages. Roof framework, Roof cover, Gutters, Electrical & Plumbing chasing complete. Our independent inspector highlighted few issues during the plate height and Roof cover inspection. But CH site supervisor has been great and he worked with our inspector to address everything that was highlighted in the report. We even got photos from the supervisor to say when it was done. So far I am happy with how CH has been handling any issues that gets raised Now that the roof cover is done we are hoping to have grey float and render to start soon.
