Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Burbank Home in Eynesbury 22May 02, 2014 1:38 pm Yes I feel your pain. Nothing has happened on my block for a week now either. I think the brickies are held up on an other house due to the rain, so I just have to wait. I think my house will be about 60 days from slab to lock up which I think is what they allow. Why so nervous about the stairs? I think we all have our thing we are anxious about. My is the kitchen. I come from a neutral tone family (both sides) and have opted for a black and white kitchen. I just pray it looks good! I'll be interested in whether they use the same detail they did with our house. It wasn't very good. As your house does, we have a roof meeting a clad wall with a down pipe from the upper storey roof ending in a spreader onto the lower roof. "It's a Burbank standard detail" the plumber said, giving me the brush off, when I questioned its effectiveness - while he was out to remedy the large volume of water that got directed into my ceiling cavity as a result of this watertight detail...
