Wow, that's great! Where are you going to rent? Did Leighton say how many lots have sold in Finlow St? They had sold signs up on the web but then they all came down, and now I don't know how many have sold! Schultzie I'll be very happy if your other half is doing waxing etc from home, a beautician literally just around the corner Re: settlers run, botanic ridge 184Mar 16, 2011 9:04 am Pinchy.. your house looks fantastic Elaine.. fabulous I wish we could make a decision but still tossing up between Urbanedge and SBG. Its a 1 vote each stalemate. on the upside our house is officially on the market, first open house this Sat, hopefully we sell fast and for tonnes of lovely money Re: settlers run, botanic ridge 185Mar 16, 2011 9:33 am Thanks Pinchy, currently in Mt Eliza, lots of fiddly stuff to do before the house can go on market, I redid some stumping (for the 4th time) on the weekend, horrid job, but its as good as its going to get. Really looking fwd to having a new house for a change (if we can ever get a builder moving!!). Have appointment today to go through first set of drawings, I have found about 20 mistakes, want about 5 other changes and have 4 questions!! ROFL they aren't going to forget me in a hurry. I will try and up load my plans later for you all to see. Are you still builder shopping? Re: settlers run, botanic ridge 186Mar 16, 2011 9:49 am Pinchy Hi Wilson, nice plans what is the room opposite the pantry? Is it another walk in pantry? Butlers pantry? Hi Pinchy , thanks, no its a Broom cupboard with lots of shelves Schultzie what do you mean the opposite of what you guys want? Do you mean like master bedroom at the rear of the house etc? Or something else? I'm guessing you guys want something different as you don't have kids yet we have built the plan around having 3 kids in the house! Welcome Roderick, hope you get your plans sorted soon! Where are you living now? When are you planning to go on the market? Good luck with the renos, ours seem to be taking forever! Re: settlers run, botanic ridge 189Mar 16, 2011 4:32 pm Hey Pinchy, We are going to stay at my father inlaw's house, he has 4 empty bedroom's and is in Franston south so the kids can still attend the same school. Re: settlers run, botanic ridge 196Mar 21, 2011 9:20 am The_Pezzas G'day all, We're also building in Settlers Run (Lot 217) and we've gone with SBG. They were a bit slow off the mark, but when it came to getting drawings changed etc Dave and Shaun were really helpful and it didn't cost a thing so @lasttimehopefully i'd recommend you at least have a chat to Dave and see if he can help you out. Have you started building yet? If so, hows it going? Re: settlers run, botanic ridge 197Mar 21, 2011 10:17 am Supposed to have started building, but nothing has happened as yet. I'm a bit annoyed as the start date has slipped from end of January to end of February and now we're heading towards the end of March and still nothing. Will be trying to get hold of Dave today to find out what is going on. I'll cross my fingers for you that something starts soon. Re: settlers run, botanic ridge 199Mar 21, 2011 2:14 pm Hi Audrey, how did first open house go on Saturday? Hope you got lots of people round. I am employed as a body corporate gardener in Glen Iris suburbs and I have just lost a contract due to the economic situation, might have to get back into my old job I had in UK as interior designer but its been a while, 10 years in fact. Interior designer? Your input will be most welcome on this forum I think! I can't wait to see what you do with your new home, do you have loads of design ideas already? Bad luck about losing the contract, I hope you find something really soon. 7 6450 I had a similar issue with my fridge not too long ago. It wasn't the same model, but the symptoms were pretty much the same: the compressor would start and then stop… 3 9424 |
