We bought in stage 10 and our stage was delayed by 5 months original expectation was march 2011 and we settled on august 29th every so often they just send an email telling you it has been delayed and a new expected date.if you contact them they dont know why there is a delay-its very frustrating but they still get their money and your paying the builder extra not them.what stage is your land at-council approval, titles? i hope your land titles soon.

I have no idea, originally they said the settlement date would be September 2011 and because this block was sold as a house and land package the builder was to start construction by Oct 31. The office later informed us of the delay. The new dates at this stage are end of December 2011. The builder has informed the office and us that they will charge us $2000 for every two months delay. Based on the last communication from the developer we will have to fork out atleast 4k based on the latest dates. I have raised this will the office informing them that they should have not sold this as a house and land package if they were not sure of the title dates. My argument is that If this was sold as land only we would not have had any issues with the delay as we would have engaged a builder only after the titles/settlement. The ball is now in their court, I am waiting to hear from them. Have already sent several emails but have not received a reply as yet.
