Thanks, didn't think about using the antenna. WL stage 8 Re: williams landing 1664Oct 10, 2011 3:27 pm I have a digital radio and have no problem, but I only listen to 2 stations. That is not confirmed yet. I thought that a bit strange but he said no permit has been issued for it yet. Apparently they can level the land and then apply for a permit. Bit back to front to me but that is what I was told. A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands. It's great. I am having a bit of trouble lately with the conreter. I recently finish the built and getting a concreter to do the paving for me. I am guessing the work wasn't done properly. But just want to know if that's the case. Can somebody help me? On the quote, it states expansion rubber all round. But at the end of the job, there's only one out of three walls (north wall) having the 12mm thickness expansion rubber on. THe back wall of the house hasn't got any. And the east wall has a very tiny bit, like 20mm height one, which can easily peel up by hand. The concreter said it's not required to have all around, but I said how come one out of three has and the other two walls have not. Can somebody tell me if there's any condition that there's no need to put the rubber? THanks in advance. PS I haven't paid a cent yet, fortunately. Re: williams landing 1673Oct 18, 2011 11:26 am mberv Concreting.... Did any 1 notice hair line cracks in their concreting ? If so how did you resolve or how did it come up post sealing? Yes I have noticed a few in the concreting done around the house..... don't know what to do about it though. Most probably I'll ask the concreter who did the job about it. The concrete around the house was not sealed. By the way, did you put any sealant on the black foam strip that is put between the concrete and the wall? Re: williams landing 1674Oct 20, 2011 11:44 am I wonder if I am the only one who's annoyed to see category 1 roof tiles now being used in Williams Landing? To think we upgraded our roof tiles to Category 2 for nothing! To think we upgraded our roof tiles to Category 2 for nothing! I'm sure your not the only one annoyed. We have a colourbond roof so doesn't worrry us too much, but I get your point. Same with the concrete. I've seen a couple of patterned ones that look like slate. A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands. Hi Mberv, Hairline cracks are very common & you dont have to worry about, if you can incert a 50cent coin then please get in touch with your builder or concreter.
