Have had tender presentation with Rawson homes and Metricons presentation is next week. We have been told by a few people that Denham park is classified as a "premium village" whatever that means LOL... like a Harrington grove I think. stricter guidelines etc. uniformed area which is really attractive for my wife and I. Anyone else building with rawson or metricon in the willowdale area? Anyone receive BAL ratings? So excited!!!!! My little boy will grow up in a new suburb. How big are the lots in that part? Our BAL is 12.5, some area is higher, for example right next to parks/bush etc Re: Building at Willowdale 1451Jul 08, 2015 10:58 am Re: Building at Willowdale 1452Jul 08, 2015 1:55 pm PixiGT Will lay concrete around alfresco, continuing to about a 2.5m section all the way across the back width of the house, & installing a patio roof with skylight panels, then a retainer to a grassed yard at the back...will post more photos when I get this done Sent using Tapatalk Congratulations!! Hi Troy, Welcome to willowdale and congratulations on your purchase. I'm not building with Metricon or Rawson, I do however, have a BAL of 12.5 on my land. My block is adjacent to the canal and close to the farm land densly populated with trees. Our BAL only required minor adjustments such as fly screens and gutter guards ect. Wishing you all the best in your home searching Re: Building at Willowdale 1454Jul 09, 2015 6:30 am Thanks everyone for your comments raskar, for sure- Taubmans Calico Beige, which I couldn't be happier with (SS said he thought it looked better than the display homes!) Nimsy, the floor tiles are definitely standard range (as are all the tiles throughout the house), Mist Matte, 450x450mm. Pewter grip, alfresco & porch, same size Sent using Tapatalk Re: Building at Willowdale 1455Jul 09, 2015 8:55 am Awesome thanks, I love it! (our colour too, it's all the rage at the moment!) Good to see it on walls, it's so hard with tiny paper samples. Re: Building at Willowdale 1456Jul 09, 2015 8:02 pm raskar Awesome thanks, I love it! (our colour too, it's all the rage at the moment!) I have been following this forum for some time and was a great contributor to our final decision to purchase in willowdale. Lots of useful info you all share and I tbink it is a sign of a good community. Lots a very expensive and demand is strong for the estate. We purchased 480sq in denham park for $477. Fellow Willowdaler Fil Re: Building at Willowdale 1458Jul 10, 2015 12:43 pm Hi Fil, and welcome to Willowdale ️ Unfortunately the lots are becoming really expensive nowadays; back in the first release prices were very different. But IMHO it will pay off in the end to be in this nice area, not only financially, but in the community context as well. Wishing you all the best with you build! Fellow Willowdaler Fil Congrats! Hey guys building a new place through a volume builder and just wondering if i should complain to the site supervisor as we just had plasterboard installed. Looks like… 0 11861 Elvis has left the building... The site supervisor quit after 2 month on the project. I guess he was just instructed to bark at people, but didn't like when he was… 26 21665 |
