Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Avonlee Henley Brook Perth 1405Feb 15, 2013 7:17 pm Mel I drove past recently. It's looking awesome. I couldn't take a pic as there was a bit of traffic but we are so happy to see it. And I hope you have a big team of plasterers. We had only one guy so it took a while. You should definitely go see it today. Having a roof on makes a huge visual difference and you really will have that Colorbond moment they advertise on TV lol. We are now officially locked out of our house. Looking at it from the outside in until the next time we have a tradie working late or our tiling meeting whichever comes first. Nice meeting you tonight Mel!! The house looks good hopefully you will get a good run from here on. Re: Avonlee Henley Brook Perth 1410Feb 15, 2013 11:14 pm Spoke with our neighbours tonight behind us looks like fencing still has not been paid and they are only then allowing 10 more fences to go up at a time. Looks like most of us will be without fences for some time, not sure how we are going to sort our pool out. I called Tragic Nitwits today and got the run around from office staff that Andrew was in a meetng and will get back to me on Monday re fence, landscaping and paving of the corner council section of the block. It is just a JOKE!!! Re: Avonlee Henley Brook Perth 1411Feb 15, 2013 11:18 pm No good about the fencing landscaping. I would have thought it would be an easy thing. Put the money from the sale of our properties into an account to earn interest until we complete the houses and then release it. Looks like they spent it all and haven't made enough on the future blocks yet to cover it Re: Avonlee Henley Brook Perth 1412Feb 15, 2013 11:35 pm dargonk No good about the fencing landscaping. It turns out the Kaylene also told our neighbours the samething about the landscaping as she told us. That it would cover the corner block retic and grass. She is now undercover sellingland somewhere else for TN. Well I will try not to think about it for the rest of the weekend!! Re: Avonlee Henley Brook Perth 1413Feb 15, 2013 11:46 pm Well at least you guys will have that great big Mound of sand with those pig melons growing on it for quite sometime. It could become the new avonlee emblem lol. Sorry guys just trying to lighten things up. As the saying goes the grass always seems greener on the otherside. Someone climb to the top and plant a big flag that says Terranovis Re: Avonlee Henley Brook Perth 1415Feb 16, 2013 12:02 am Hahah. Maybe it can be the communal vegie patch/mound? Not looking forward to a rough ride for my block... Civil works on the Verdelho section were meant to "commence February and be completed late April, titles due May".... Re: Avonlee Henley Brook Perth 1417Feb 16, 2013 12:19 am We are having to look at our own make shift temporary fence to keep the dog in the backyard. I think it is pathetic that some ppl still don't have fences up, where's the privacy. Stupid bloody terra air heads. Thank goodness for the weekend Re: Avonlee Henley Brook Perth 1418Feb 16, 2013 12:24 pm It was great meeting you too BJA!! im sure you'll be in your home before you know it!! haha i have been calling it a vegie patch too!! ... should maybe plant some nice colourful flowers on there give our entrance a bit of pizazz! seeing as tho the park will NEVER be finished ! the fencing situation is just getting pretty bloody emabarrassing ... Re: Avonlee Henley Brook Perth 1420Feb 18, 2013 5:56 pm i was about to ask the same thing.... i dont think im going to be driving out there for a little while ... ill give them a while to do what they need to now that i have a roof im happy and i'll leave them alone for a little bit Hi, If you give a set of criteria as to what means 'good' to you, it'll give others prompts to respond. We considered Henley early on but there were two factors that… 1 12644 1 5068 1 2878 |
