The developer people have decided they'll "allow" us to do the timber retaining walls as they originally told us.

Meanwhile our administrator lady suddenly changed and the first thing our new lady said was - (yes that's right, I couldn't believe it either) there's a $660 fee for hydraulic engineering that we would need to pay!!

Our admin lady reckons that the whole roofline saga won't have slowed down our council approval timeframe but who knows. I just really want to get the excavation done before Christmas because there's so much Plantation-downtime over December/Jan where we could be getting our retaining walls and basic swimming pool excavation done. (It still gobsmacks me that a whole industry shuts down for a full 5 weeks in this day and age!)
But I am trying not to stress about it. Hopefully by the end of the build a few weeks delay at the start won't seem like such a big deal.
So the only update I have at the moment is our electricals (it should show bigger if you click on it). I am always very happy for any feedback or suggestions!
