That happened to me and we had to choose on the spot at colour selections. There is a specific booklet - maybe ask your rep for it? We used cardboard sheets and blue tacked them on the wall. The colour in reality is very different to the colour on the sample cards. Especially with artificial and natural light. Then on Thursday they did piering and pipework. Friday the form was up for the slab and a fence was erected. Today the rio was delivered. We've had a bit of rain on the Central Coast so fingers crossed it can stay away so we can get a slab this week! Re: Who is building with Beechwood 13437Sep 26, 2016 12:38 pm Our house was all locked up on the weekend. Garage door is on and the front door has the lock installed. One thing I noticed through the windows though is that in the TV areas, they installed the power points and TV point at 1.6m up the wall. Didn't see any mention of this in my electrical plans so have spoken to the Project Manager about it. Normally it wouldn't be a problem as it would all be hidden behind the TV, but the power point is far enough to one side that I would need to either offset the TV or spend $12k on a 85" TV. What have you guys done about power and TV points in the TV areas? Have they installed at floor level, or half way up the wall? But didn't give thought to where in the alcove part. Re: Who is building with Beechwood 13440Sep 26, 2016 9:51 pm lileegirl mine is positioned half way up but in the centre so that the tv will cover it. is it possible to call the electrician and ask him to move it? I contacted the Project Manager and he said he will investigate it and get it rectified. My preference is to bring everything down to the floor level as it is easier to bring one power lead down from the TV to the floor than bringing up the power and leads for any devices we want to plug in. That conduit will fill up quick smart if we basically have to double the amount of cords going through it. In theory I could connect a power board with a long tail up to the power behind the TV but I have had enough of trying to access points behind TV's and the like. Would rather have a little access panel in the cabinet beneath that I can open and switch off from there. Hey guys building a new place through a volume builder and just wondering if i should complain to the site supervisor as we just had plasterboard installed. Looks like… 0 11924 Elvis has left the building... The site supervisor quit after 2 month on the project. I guess he was just instructed to bark at people, but didn't like when he was… 26 21821 |
