Looks like they'll have the roof on today My Homeone Thread - Re: Coral Daydream 32 123Jul 28, 2016 10:12 am vonsta76 It's funny, some parts seem huge, while others look tiny. My daughter is panicing her room is so small. It is smaller than her room at the moment but is bigger than many of the Coral bedrooms. The kids will have the activity room to spill into as well so their room can mainly be their bed, rather than all their crap they accumulate. In hindsight, it is something I should have changed. We also have plenty of living spaces throughout the rest of the home too. Re: Coral Daydream 32 124Jul 28, 2016 10:13 am DreamHome2point0 Yay! Looks like they'll have the roof on today Yep. It's all finally . Happening. Shame about your cut. Hopefully it will happen today. It really opens up once walls go up and its painted though! It looked and felt so small when it was just frames, so I took my measuring tape over and measured out our king size bed. I was so shocked by how small our king size bed looked once we measured it out in the room! Now that the bricks are on and it's closed in it looks bigger. Can't wait to see it with gyprock! My Homeone Thread - Re: Coral Daydream 32 128Jul 28, 2016 7:15 pm Wowie! How gorgeous is that sunset! How dare you have a nice big space to enjoy! You won't feel guilty when you're living in it, enjoying it. Nice frames too by the way! My Homeone Thread - Re: Coral Daydream 32 130Jul 30, 2016 6:49 am Mama Mia that sunset is divine! GJ Gardner Modified Coolum 277 viewtopic.php?t=83643 It's is a billabong behind us but it is a great view. The homes behind us are a little bit lower than us and there are 2 blocks split between the back of our place so have been trying to work out if we will have a bit of a scope without them directly in front and blocking it. Also Hoping they aren't 2 storey. Re: Coral Daydream 32 132Aug 02, 2016 5:32 pm Don't feel guilty...who's paying the mortgage? Very happy with him. Our guttering and fascia was meant to go up yesterday but rain set in. Tiler also booked for tomorrow, but once again has been delayed for rain. He said he has everything booked up to the bricks. Everything is looking organised and he has been good to communicate with too.

And you have a bath in your ensuite, I didn`t realise that! We are having a bath in our ensuite too. Shame about the rain but it sounds like your ss is all over his trades. My Homeone Thread - Re: Coral Daydream 32 135Aug 04, 2016 1:20 pm DreamHome2point0 Wowie, look at your WIR, it`s massive! And you have a bath in your ensuite, I didn`t realise that! We are having a bath in our ensuite too. Shame about the rain but it sounds like your ss is all over his trades. Now you see what I mean about feeling a bit guilty. Lol our bath is bigger than the kids too. I asked the ss about raising the height of the shelf in the WIR so we c an fit another rail or draws and shelving etc underneath, which he said wasn't a problem. Have just been out looking at lights and fans again. Our electrician may have some extra work with a few extra lights we have decided on. Whoops. Re: Coral Daydream 32 136Aug 05, 2016 6:31 am We bought all our outdoor lights last night and saw this fan that we are thinking of for our living area. We will need 3 in total. Here it is with our floor tile. We have a light grey/ green lounge, and whitish concrete top dining table and coffee table, with light timber legs, and urban bench tops and polar white cupboards in the kitchen. Thinking the fans ( without the lights) will help add to our modern Scandinavian raw look we are wanting. What do people think or will it be too much? I don't think that fans are too much at all particularly because the blades are quite fine. I really like it! C U S T O M. C O R A L. I`m sure you and hubby have both worked hard to have these things. It sounds like your SS is pretty flexible, which is good for you guys. Now, I LOVE those tiles! They look like they have a nice texture to them, do they? The tile colour is neutral so I think it would go with anything really. The tile looks like a perfect match with the fan to me. Your living space sounds like it`s going to be nice, light, bright with whites - very scandi. I love scandi style but I`m also into a bit of rustic/industrial (not too much of that) and like one off pieces. I guess I`m a bit eclectic you could say. They will be played in a brickbond, staggered style. Re: Coral Daydream 32 140Aug 05, 2016 8:50 am DreamHome2point0 Haha, definitely don`t feel guilty about having nice things to enjoy for yourself. We will have them outdoors as well in our portico and alfresco areas. Your style sounds exactly like mine. Love a little bit of industrial too. Hoping the rain clears today's so our gutters can get up!!! Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 14960 Hi so sorry for the late reply. I already contacted them and they wouldn't tell me instead they tried to get me to talk to one of their home coordinators and I'm not… 2 5901 |
