We need to also start selecting the furniture as our roof is now completed. What is your floor colour for living area ? We are having a walnut colour laminate, so it'll look pretty dark against all the white. Re: New Generation - Annie's Landing Pics - Furniture 123Oct 08, 2014 11:17 pm Woah furniture overload! I love your choices! I especially love your outdoor furniture, it's great you can fit both in. Hopefully you have somewhere to store it all when it arrives. We got our first Freedom delivery and wow I didn't realise how much I had bought until it arrived Dale Alcock Build in Honeywood Our Thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70204&p=1154102#p1154102 Re: New Generation - Annie's Landing Pics - Furniture 124Oct 08, 2014 11:37 pm Kelsey78 Woah furniture overload! We got our first Freedom delivery and wow I didn't realise how much I had bought until it arrived Thanks Kelsey. Luckily I only bought things from shops that were willing to store it for us for free until we were ready for it. We are renting a tiny place at the moment and cant fit our current furniture in it. Re: New Generation - Annie's Landing Pics - Furniture 125Oct 08, 2014 11:44 pm That is one impressive shopping spree! I hadn't even considered buying anything before we're in but if they store it for free I might have to start shopping My New Home Build with Dale Alcock - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=66662 Landscape Design Thread - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=71784 Re: New Generation - Annie's Landing Pics - Furniture 126Oct 08, 2014 11:54 pm The Turleys, Which all shops you have used so far ? I am also looking to shops from suppliers who can store free until we are ready. The Outdoor Furniture Specialists are holding till we want it and Furniture Bazaar will hold free for three months. Casa billiards are making and holding the pool table and Hollywood lighting are storing our pendants until we want them. Don't think we have anything from anywhere else?!?! But most places should hold stuff now as Avenger, you'll be in in 3 months. I couldn't get an outdoor setting from Harvey Norman as it was the last one and they wouldn't hold it. Even though it was $4500. It's still sitting there now so they lost a sale. Re: New Generation - Annie's Landing Pics - Furniture 128Oct 09, 2014 12:17 am Thanks Turley for sharing the useful information. I need to start preparing the shopping list. Lounge we shorlisted from Gascogine and atHome, need to finalize one of them. Instead I found myself doing a double take and driving around the block again. We had windows and sliders!! I was sure the ceiling and walls were next, so really wasn't expecting it. I'll pop back later for some pics. I haven't met my SS. I don't email my SS for timelines, I just let him do his job. Hubby bumped into him once on site and I have only contacted him once to check something, otherwise I've only emailed in reply to his. I guess I don't like disappointment, so I'd rather be pleasantly surprised to find stuff done that expect action by a certain date and be upset. We do have a portal that tells us when stuff is complete and whats next, but no timeline. It's great for those that can't get to site regularly, but I'm only 5mins away, so I'm driving by a couple of times a day at the moment because its the school holidays, I'm off work and have nothing better to do. And I know the feeling of being banned...I rebelled and broke that ban pretty quickly though! I LOVE all your furniture, looks like you went on a minkz shopping spree! We've been eyeing off the square version of the dining table you chose...love it! We've been eyeing off the square version of the dining table you chose...love it! Thanks Dee, I actually broke the ban today and bought a new bedroom suite for my almost two year old It was too good a deal to turn down!! As for Minkz, I love the place, we have ordered two couches from there too, it's great that they are custom made. I love that the dining table has glass over the top to protect it, buy it. Unfortunately that range rarely has more than 10% off the price. Re: New Generation - Annie's Landing - *We have windows* 136Oct 10, 2014 7:42 pm In two days the roof is on and all glass is in. The roof vents need to be added but the inside is all clean and ready for the walls and ceilings. I'm so excited and overwhelmed right now Although now it'll be time for another progress payment, two in less than two weeks - ouch to the bank balance Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: New Generation - Annie's Landing - *We have windows* 137Oct 10, 2014 11:38 pm Congratulations Turleys that is really very fast. Do you have a stone work in your house feature ? It looks very similar to Aspir display home. I also received a request for progress payment yesterday for roof cover. The progress payment are really going very fast I got inspired from your furniture purchasing yesterday so finally booked our living area lounge from Gascogine. It is a 100% cow hide Italian leather modular sofa. Are you getting your flooring and aircon from NewGen? I was told today by AirCon company that during Christmas they are expecting a lot of rush for installation so they need a 4 weeks advance notice. Yeah we didn't like the original elevation so we used the Aspire one, but we have had to change it a little to meet the developers requirements. So glad you started to get your furniture sorted, you can't beat Italian leather. I'm having both my flooring and aircon installed by New Gen and it's already been called up for installation, so I've already had to pay my upgrade bills. Can't keep up with all the payments at the moment 4 weeks is a lot of notice though and is going to be tough to do. Melsie68 I love the look of the front of your house Thanks Melsie, I'm looking forward to seeing it all come together. Re: New Generation - Annie's Landing - *We have windows* 140Oct 16, 2014 7:36 pm So I visited the house today to see how the drywall was coming along. The ceilings are all in except for one small area and about 50% of the walls are in place. Not bad for three days work! I did however notice the wrong cornices have been delivered so hopefully this'll get sorted soon! I'm concerned the house looks really small now The living area Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Theatre minus the window Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Main bedroom Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Games room so far Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I am looking to design an entry door to a lower ground basement that has 2200mm between the external entry height to FFL of the ground floor.
