Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Mt Barker Simonds Build - Tile Selection pics!! 121Oct 16, 2013 9:25 pm I like the plantation shutters too, look forward to seeing them in your homes. Have not thought much about window coverings yet but should turn my mind to it. Look forward to more pics on Fri. Have you decided on internal paint colour? Re: Mt Barker Simonds Build - Tile Selection pics!! 122Oct 16, 2013 9:33 pm Yup! The timber is the "pop"! So we have to continue that to match in with the walnut vanity & tie it together... We'll finish it off with accessories. Arrrgh paint colour... Big issue, can't really decide. Simonds use Haymes, I like Sand Storm, sort of a tan colour. But I'm afraid it's too warm... I'll have to match a few things up with some samples on Friday, I know I definitely want something deeper than a white, white. but still light and ties in with our other choices & the bamboo. Safe to say at this stage I am bamboozled on paint Thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=66299 Slab: 16/6/14 Frame: 4/7/14 Roof: 22/7/14 Lock Up: 20/8/14 Fixing: 26/8/14 PCI: 9/10/14 Handover: 20/10/14 Re: Mt Barker Simonds Build - Tile Selection pics!! 123Oct 16, 2013 9:37 pm Totally understand. I am second guessing my paint choice. It's the decision I found most stressful. They will prob colour match if you know of one by a diff brand that you like. What is the display home? Re: Mt Barker Simonds Build - Tile Selection pics!! 124Oct 16, 2013 11:43 pm Loving the tile selections and the flooring looks great. Drain looks awesome...wonder how they'd cope with my long hair?? I love plantation shutters too, but know they are pricey, so we will just do them in the front facing rooms so they look good from the street! Now bring on Friday!! It's so important, yet probably one of the things I've given the least thought to... guess thats a job for me today! I'm not sure what it is, but I can ask the Colour selections lady tomorrow, i'm hoping she'll have some suggestions! Cooper05 Loving the tile selections and the flooring looks great. Re: Mt Barker Simonds Build - Tile Selection pics!! 129Oct 17, 2013 12:40 pm Thanks Rosaandben and Lucinda, I ummed and ahhed for so long, changed my mind a billion times and ended up ditching my first colour scheme and starting again. I started off with tans, browns and naturals and have gone for greys, blacks and timber!
