Re: New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 102Mar 03, 2017 9:53 pm vuster I didn't pay more than retail price for the Miele. M would still have gotten it cheaper? Even thou it still looked like the same price smeg gave us? I thought that would be only the stuff they buy in volumes? Re: New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 103Mar 03, 2017 9:57 pm M would get good trade prices on a lot of things due to the amount of homes they build so yes they would get it cheaper in my opinion. They don't skip a beat do they lol New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 105Mar 04, 2017 11:02 am I guess I should update. Had our tile appointment yesterday. We got porcelain tiles throughout the whole house. As well as up the walls. So glad we had the $11,000 promo to upgrade to all porcelain tiles for the floors. We did 5 bathrooms with that and the powderoom as well. The consultant told us if we didn't have that promo. It would have cost us $35,000 just on floor tiles. So all up our tile appointment was about $11,000 to $12,000. With all tiles up the wall in all bathrooms and powderoom and ensuites. Including wall tiles to the kitchenette and laundry. The funny thing is. M knew we had that many bathrooms and booked us in for only 1.5 hours. I had to tell my csc that it wouldn't be enough. So she changed it too 3 hours. We ended up taking 4. Re: New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 106Mar 04, 2017 1:12 pm Sounds like that tile promo was well worth it!! Re: New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 107Mar 04, 2017 1:28 pm dulie Sounds like that tile promo was well worth it!! Oh definitely. It was so good to finally go to a selection and not have it being in the $30,000 to over $40,000. To be honest I thought it was a catch. I thought I bet that won't include labor etc... but it did. And it's good to actually see someone know about it. The tile consultant knew straight off about the deal. Usually with m. One person tells you something another person tells you something completely different. Except for my consultant. She won't tell you anything unless she really knows the answer. New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 108Mar 04, 2017 2:35 pm What do you guys think about this tile selection? I'm planning on using this up the wall in the bathrooms? So have one colour for floor one for wall. I'm not to sure about it as it's white. Thinking it will outdate. The tile consultant said they are very popular. As they are a marble look. What do you reckon? It's a real beautiful tile I think. Which one did You pick? New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 111Mar 04, 2017 8:27 pm Doulton777 Yeah your right. It's suppose to be. So D777 you did not go to Beaumont tiles for the tile appt? Just to studio M. Why are some people sent to Beaumont and others to studio M for tile selection. Is Beaumont there to shock you with the price!? Re: New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 113Mar 04, 2017 8:29 pm oh and by the way love the marble look tile!!! Is Beaumont there to shock you with the price!? No I went to Beaumont. Apparently freedom clients pick their tiles from studio. And designer and signature go to Beaumont. If freedom clients want to go to Beaumont. They have to pay $200 for the appointment. I found that out through tile consultant yesterday. Let's just say it's a nice surprise to actually see nothing was hidden in the price like it usually is with m lol Re: New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 115Mar 04, 2017 9:15 pm Tiles look nice and good to see you didn't have to fork out a fortune for them. What is the total price for tiling the whole house? I.e base cat 1 tiles + full height + promotion+ Beaumont meeting upgrade price? Re: New here we are building the Doulton 56 with extension 119Mar 04, 2017 9:21 pm It's also the one I picked at studio but they didn't add it in. So I had to pick it again.
