We worked around a plan . Originally we had 2 alfrescos one were the living room is and one were the games room is . So we toke both out made the living area bigger and the games room bigger . And just moved the 3 bathroom out and put two more bedrooms in . The hallway got wider my partner used to be a removal ist I I think he thought we were going to move furniture in and out of the house on a daily thing lol . So many people told me hallways a a waste .but it works for us being so long a skinny one would look weird . But then my little hallway to my bedroom got wider and I lost a lot of space in my wir . Kinda never thought about the width of the house . The theatre also had to go back too because of this . Our block is 935 Sqm . We were looking at a 2000sqm block that was going for $325 . But they didn't won't to wait . I go past there all the time looking at the house that is built on there lol . My house would of looked better lol .
Was pretty scary when she cut her face red sauce was everywhere .one of my other girls thought it was all blood . Bless her .
With so many kids our lives are pretty full on if it's not one kid it's another . ( and my partner wonts one more ) I don't think I can do it .
I hate shopping as a family I kinda get the feeling people are looking at me thinking I'm crazy . My sister has 5 one day she was out with just one . Someone asked her if that was the only child she had .she said yes couldn't be bothered getting into the whole do you not have any TV thing lol

Your so lucky to have such a big block to not have to think about the house width, your house plan worked really well, manipulating the rooms and still being able to get big bedrooms and a giant hallway is brilliant. Hahahhaha that's too funny, like you want to be hauling furniture everyday up and down the hallways. Ohh bugger about the loss of wir space, did you get cabinetry fit outs in there? I really like all the different living spaces you have, it's really needed with so many kids hey. Next build I have big plans for more living spaces

. 325k is such a good price for a half acre.

Poor girl she was all panicked about the sauce, least she was concerned and little miss was ok (bar your nerves that where shot to pieces). It is like they hey, just when one kiddy comes good something happens to another. Omg are you serious? He wants one more, wow your a brave lady if you decide to, Im in awe that you have 6!!! 5 is my limit, we had our kiddies young and now plan on having some fun with them and building houses

No your not crazy at all I get exactly the same thing!!! Even just standing at the checkout line tonight I watched 3 people line up behind us and do a head count. Funny how the g'mas love it though, it was the norm back then.

Your sister had the right idea is saying she only has one, I'll try that (if I can ever go with just one)

With maybe some bedside tables . Still need to paint three more .by the time they get done I'll have to repainted the whole house he he .
I don't have fit out in my wir ( hasn't even been painted ) but we have a big his her set of draws that my partner wwonts to some how get in there and just have hanging space on the sides. Bloody another thing to get done . Sometimes I feel it's never going to happen . But if I don't nag at him I'm thinking it will get done sooner than later. If he starts something it gets done but if he has a break one weekend it's hard to get motivated again . It's a man thing he he .
He does won't one more I'm really against having more kids but I feel like he has said yes to having the other kids so I'm kinda confused on the situation . I'm 35 and his 40 this year . It's kinda now or never but I really don't won't anymore . So hard . Iv built this home so all my children can have a bedroom of there own . I would also hate to take two cars everywhere we go . It's such a hard topic .

Wow, $270k for a block of land that big is a good price. We had to mortgage our souls away to buy our KDRB block.

Thanks shielzy, I'm hoping like crazy that we do get to start next week, Monday can't come fast enough for the answer. I said a lot more than boo when I saw the dirty great big thing thrown on our lot, the lot behind us has had a 4 car tyres thrown on it too. I'm positive the gate at the front of the estate does not say waste disposal location. I told mr 6 he was a cutie from the photo and he is walking around all puffed up now

Yeap the builds over here go up pretty quickly. I did see a couple of single story ones go up in 16 weeks

slab went down 31 oct 2013 moved in june 4 2014 . 7months lol . prestart was march/april 2013 . all up from signing with builder 17 months . but we did have to wait about 4 months for block to title . I hope you get your build started next week

Oh no the rugs have turned into a sport, what about that gripe rubber mesh matting (the stuff you put under glasses ect on a boat to stop them slipping) put a strip under either end of the rug and it won't move (they will be grumpy though

) your bedrooms are a good size and you have huge living areas, they have plenty of spaces to go to. I'm going to brave up and do some wallpapering, found exactly what Im after but the roll cost is scary

, did you paint the hallway yourself it's looks so good. That's a good idea with the draws, it will work well when hubby gets it done, so true nagging just puts the brakes on them, I can't complain my hubby is a eager beaver lol.

. It's such a hard and personal choice about having another babe, a new baby would just fit in and life rolls on, 2 kiddies sharing isn't the end of the world and maybe you could buy a 12 seater van? You guys will make the right choice for your family. Our youngest fitted in so well I kept forgetting her

. I would get all the kids in the car for school drop off and my eldest would say mum have you got everything (with that smug I know something you don't look) yes I have would be my reply and she would start laughing and say oh mum go and get pippa, she would be sound asleep in the capsule on the kitchen bench waiting to go

Might have to get some of that grip stuff . I got some from rug shop .but I think it has to be heavy duty lol .
Love wallpaper . I would like to put some up in my bedroom and living area but another thing on my list . I wish my partner was as eager as yours .must be the age he got 8 years on yours . Lol
We did all our painting . You can't see it in photos but the hallway needs to to be painted again .i don't know what happened but you can see horrible roll marks . Maybe my partner did second coat to quick . The painting isn't perfect but I couldn't justify someone else doing it and the kids being kids .
I am so on them most the time but they always seem to damage something . Today was the hinge of the appliance cupboard ( second time ) going to kitchen place and buying a whole heap .for some reason the are plastic .
I didn't know what a commuter was . And when I saw one .there was no way I was driving a van that beeped when in reverse lol.

A couple of years ago we toke oldest child to gym .when it finished got in the car went about 5 min down the road . Then relized my then 5 year old wasn't in the car . Thank god my sister in law was still there having a smoke otherwise she would of been there all alone . Lol.

Hahaha thanks tribe... Yea less gardening!!! Hahaha currently live on a 700m2 block.. I'm forever gardening and home maintenance...
