Im assuming the weather is looking better up there?! There's a "chance" of showers all week but there was all this week too and we haven't had any. The ground is nice and dry now so hopefully we make it this time! I'm trying not to jinx myself! Re: Plantation Bronte, Ormeau Ridge QLD - Lighting help plea 112Apr 13, 2015 10:51 pm Thanks everyone! Weather forecast is looking great, and I'm meeting our SS onsite in the arvo to talk about our retaining and do a general meet-and-greet, so the inspector is going to do his inspection at the same time and kill two birds with one stone. So I'll definitely have slab pics tomorrow! ——— Sent from Tapatalk My build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76446 Jen (& Dave) Plantation Bronte, Ormeau Ridge, Gold Coast QLD 12/03/2015 - Commencement... 26/08/2015 - Handover! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76446 Re: Plantation Bronte, Ormeau Ridge QLD - Lighting help plea 113Apr 14, 2015 9:25 am Looking forward to seeing some pics of slab! Re: Plantation Bronte, Ormeau Ridge QLD - Slabbed! 118Apr 14, 2015 6:08 pm RoomeatAwesome!!!! Looking forward to lots of pics from now on lol. What retaining do you have to do? From pics it looks pretty much retainer free? We had to have retaining straight across the back as there's an 800mm step up to our neighbour (which is on our side of the boundary) - that's already been done and was fine. But they were talking about putting fence brackets on top of it and charging us for that, which we don't want, as it's not on our boundary. Also, they put a little bit on one side, and now that my neighbours have done their site cut it's completely useless. So they're removing it. ShannaLKDamn, I missed your update yesterday! You win Happy days! Yep, but you can't be that far behind! Anyway, here's what you've all been waiting for...slab pics! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ (The sign on the fence saying "please keep dirt off fence" is from my neighbour. Apparently our builder had dirt piled up against his lovely fence, which I wasn't happy about either, that's been rectified). I received a care parcel from my jet-setting sister today, which had our first piece of original artwork for our new house in it: Jen (& Dave) Plantation Bronte, Ormeau Ridge, Gold Coast QLD 12/03/2015 - Commencement... 26/08/2015 - Handover! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76446 Re: Plantation Bronte, Ormeau Ridge QLD - Lighting help plea 119Apr 14, 2015 6:10 pm While I was there meeting my SS the inspector, Phil from K-Spec, was there doing his inspection too. He said the slab was beautiful, very clean and smooth and perfectly squared off, in the right place, penetrations in the right place, etc, so that was also great to hear. Now we wait 5-7 days and then they'll start the frame!
