Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building through Home Group WA 101Jun 04, 2015 12:36 pm Hey Nat, off the top of your head do you know how much HGWA charged you for the paint finish render to the front of your house? Just looking over some of our costings and wondering if we need to question our price... Re: Building through Home Group WA 103Jun 04, 2015 8:24 pm Hi Natalie, didn't know acrylic render also cost extra with HGWA (misled by rep yet again). We have signed up with them too..but little regret to be honest, when I learnt some of the things Ventura have are standard, in this case acrylic render.. not much I suppose. But then we did sort of sacrifice the daikin & rinnai brand to go with HGWA's Samsung & Rheem....ah well..can't win them all I guess.. Hi skydroid it may be different your package it may be included it you have it in an email from them then use that to argue if they want to charge you. I have had a few hiccups but happy so far. I was going to go with Ventura we got costing on a lot and it worked out to go through HGWA we were saving $10000 and getting more included Re: Building through Home Group WA 105Jun 04, 2015 8:35 pm Really..that much different eh, maybe ventura had a different package then.. Not so much for us, probably only 1-2k difference initially, but now I feel like HGWA getting more and more expensive..finger crossed i don't need to spend too much in pre-start . I'm not a fan ![]() I waited 2 days for costings some things were missing and then waited another 3 after 2 weeks we finally got it all finalised. Shouldn't have to wait that long mine was only that long as well as my pre start lady went on personal/sick leave and someone else had to take over. Out final docs are ready so they will be sent out next week just in time for my partner to get home and sign, he is FIFO as well doing 4 and 1 so we have always told them that we are on a timeframe with documents they want signed and they have been great with it so far. No we haven't done FIFO before but I have 3 girls and we decided before they get to high school we would move to give them a better opportunity than what they can get in a small country town. We have been in Tom Price for 8 years and looking forward to the change. I think we will probably struggle for a while and the kids and I will miss him so much but he is actually looking forward to days off with something to do rather than sit at home for 6 days off doing nothing (not much to do in Tom Price). We are hoping for 8/6 7/7 but will take 2 on 1 off for a year just to get out. If nothing comes up (he works for Rio and wants to stay with them) then he will self fund for a while ![]() My Home Group build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77067 Re: Building through Home Group WA 117Jun 05, 2015 10:10 am Glad to hear that your costings didn't take to long Natalie ![]() ![]() ![]() My Home Group build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77067 Re: Building through Home Group WA 118Jun 05, 2015 10:17 am ![]() Glad to hear that your costings didn't take to long Natalie ![]() ![]() ![]() It is hard but I work full time plus do beauty from home so it keeps me busy! The busier I am the better cause then it flys by and don't even think about it lol It's been harder with all the house stuff as sometimes we have had to wait but not very often, my partner hasn't done anything other then sign the documents I have done all the plans pre start settlement on the block etc so he's getting out of it very easy haha Re: Building through Home Group WA 119Jun 06, 2015 2:12 pm Hi Natalie, how much were your media room and internal doors ??
