Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Bricks are about to start! 104Feb 03, 2014 9:25 pm These bricks are very modern and look great. Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Bricks are about to start! 105Feb 04, 2014 4:16 am Yea I have noticed a few houses in our area that have this colour. I just wasn't a fan of red coloured bricks. So this concept board suited is well once it's completely bricked and the front is all rendered it will look even different again Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Bricks are about to start! 106Feb 04, 2014 4:23 am This is our front main render colour! Then for some small highlight stuff we have grand piano half Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Our interior walls are all done in grand piano quarter with Lexington quarter for the roof Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Our carpets are carpet call and rock, but couldn't find a picture of this one Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Bricks are about to start! 107Feb 04, 2014 5:57 am Suey Hello!! stayxtrue - you're about the same stage as us!! Thanks Bouquet! Yea we initially chose latte as our benchtops, but then I hated it! I wasnt a fan so we changed it to walnut! haha! Maybe I should have stayed with a lighter benchtop as everything is already going to be dark. Do you have a thread ? Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Bricks are about to start! 110Feb 04, 2014 8:04 am It's look good stayxtrue, I love the brick colour. I live like 5min away and we've been driving by everyday.. so sad when we don't see any progress haha!! we are building the monaco Q3. Would have loved the Q1 but we didnt have a 14m frontage block we only had a 12.5 and this was the only floor design we liked from any builder! So we are pretty happy about that. Yea I have a feeling that wasnt a days worth of bricking. As its not that much done. We would drive up every day and we had weeks where nothing happened yet we still kept driving up in the hope something would happen and all it did was leave my disheartened! But now I will be going up every night watching the progress of our bricks! Iv heard some houses being done in 3 days!! But they must be small houses. I am expecting it to take the whole week and maybe a few days next week. our painter is due to start in a week!! So its starting to ramp up a bit! its exciting but also daunting! Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Bricks are about to start! 113Feb 04, 2014 9:15 am Yes henleys designs re great I have to admit. We had a choice between henley and porta davis and in the end we couldnt stop comparing it to the Lexington range. Fortunately for us we have a 16m frontage... 12.5m would have been hard! Yeah we had only a few layers of bricks done a day.. today is a good day, I think you will definitely see progress today! All our doors and windows are in now. We can't sneak in after hours anymore hehe we're exactly at the same stage (minus the bricks for you)! I'm waiting for the painting to start tooo! We went with crisp white lol.. so the house will be quite bare... We're thinking handover will be in a month or so.. fingers cross!! Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Bricks are about to start! 114Feb 04, 2014 9:22 am Yea we looked at porter Davis as well however for the same price we would have had a smaller house! So just wasn't worth it Yea I am thinking that today being cool they should do a fair bit with the bricks! I want them to do the front before the back!! Haha!! Our SS said it's around 6 weeks from lockup to handover, 4 weeks would be awesome!! Yeah you'd rather a bigger house! haha I think they did our bricks from the back first, we didn't see the front until the following week... When did they start on your house? we were on site early nov I think? its amazing how a house is done within 3-4months! Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Bricks are about to start! 116Feb 04, 2014 9:31 am mjmelb It's look good stayxtrue, I love the brick colour. Thanks! I am actually loving the brick colour more and more! I just want them to hurry up and do our facade!! We paid $7700 + $550 for timber windows for that upgrade and I want to see how nice it looks!! Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Bricks are about to start! 117Feb 04, 2014 9:43 am We were on site end of november and the slab was laid early december! Our frame was up before christmas! It was amazing how quickly the built it! There are so many houses in my area which started way before mine and are still sitting there not completed! Some of them are really tiny and still taking a while the christmas break seems to have stopped work longer than I thought it would! but things are finally starting to complete in my area! there are now 4 complete houses haha! We went with he haven facade - and also upgraded tiles to one of the post and that's not up yet. Can't wait to see it on so the facade is complete!! we spent over 10k on it though =( Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Bricks are about to start! 119Feb 04, 2014 10:02 am We went for the regent facade... No tiles or anything to the post though we are rendering the whole front minus the front pillers, we left it as exposed brick. We will most likely do the tiling or stackerstone at a later date. When we have some more money! But their facades are not cheap, when I was looking into other builders, they had musch more affordable facades! I do believe this is where henley makes some additional money Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Bricks are about to start! 120Feb 04, 2014 1:19 pm Howdy all.
