Noticed, the slab wasn't fully covering the areas where the baths are meant to be, is this normal? Re: Building with Summit Homes, Corimbia Estate - BRICKS! 106Apr 04, 2014 9:10 am Congrats on the bricks!! Our slab went down on the 16th of Feb, bricks were delivered around the 8th of March, brickies started about a week or 2 later... so I think it was about a month from slab down to bricks starting for us. Hopefully yours will be faster! We were told the bricks should have been delivered earlier, and that there was 1 main window frame missing that held us up. Have fun in the park with your twins!! I bet they'll love growing up opposite that park Re: Building with Summit Homes, Corimbia Estate - BRICKS! 107Apr 05, 2014 11:13 pm janicec yea that's normal. do you have a start date? I called the SS last week, and has the brickies booked for later next week, not so much of an exact date but as long as they start this week I'll be happy, so can't wait to see the walls go up Thanks Twiggens, so looks like it'll be a month since slab down when they start as well. How long did it take for them to get to plate height for your place? BUILDER SUMMIT HOMES | DESIGN THE MONACO 248 » Our Build Thread Re: Building with Summit Homes, Corimbia Estate - BRICKS! 108Apr 06, 2014 11:27 am I think it was close to a month of bricks for us, there was a delay with one of our main window frames which held them up a bit. Other than that they seemed quite fast! Re: Building with Summit Homes, Corimbia Estate - BRICKS! 109Apr 19, 2014 10:58 am The Brickies started this week, Your right twiggens, I'm surprised how fast the walls went up! Looks like we are neck and neck with the Dale Alcock build behind us, I'm curious to see who's gonna reach the finish line first Front of the house Alfresco and back area Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ BUILDER SUMMIT HOMES | DESIGN THE MONACO 248 » Our Build Thread Re: Building with Summit Homes, Corimbia Estate - BRICKS! 110Apr 19, 2014 7:08 pm Yeah!!!! Re: Building with Summit Homes, Corimbia Estate - BRICKS! 114Apr 25, 2014 11:44 pm After some deliberation we've decided to change the external render colours. Main render is now going to be Solver Vitesse (Thanks for the name of that awesome colour Fancy Pants) and Solver Crag Grey for the contrasting render A couple of sample pots revealed these colours aren't as warm as its depicted here though which isn't a bad thing as we didn't want them to be too warm looking.
