Re: Building a Waldorf by Porter Davis 103May 16, 2011 10:48 am Eve Dweller The display homes are built by a separate group. They use architects and suppliers to create those stunning homes. Many of the finishing features you see are not offered. Hi Eve Dweller, Thank you for your post regarding the display home builds. I want to confirm with you that all our display homes are designed, constructed and interior designed by us here at Porter Davis. Please feel free to contact to me or someone at the PD office. Very happy to say we have the most outstanding tilers in the building industry!! They have almost finished all the laying, they are back tomorrow to grout everything. We have never seen such immaculate cutting around such intricate corners and fixtures. Huge thumbs up to PD and our SS for hiring these tradies. We are nearing our completion now, roof tiles went on our garage in the past couple of days - amazing feat in this glorious Melbourne weather !! Our wonderful CSC said we may just have handover in four weeks... Cautiously optimistic Am loving the progress and quality of workmanship we are seeing.. Oh, and they fixed all our windows, so we are stoked! Hey, would love to get our tilers a gift to say thanks, normally a slab of Crownies does the trick, but they really don't seem like the slab kinda guys. They are two young, quiet achievers from Afghanistan.. They are working so hard I'd love to say thanks with a small token.... Any ideas??? Hi there Snoofie, So great to hear that you’re very pleased with the tilers and the service you’ve received from your CSC, it looks like your build is going very smoothly. Your blog is looking great, loving the photo’s too. Please keep us up to date with your progress. Cheers Jess Porter Davis Homes Questions? Also, there are 3 hot water service models for the Waldorf, they include - Rinnai Solar Infinity 26 - Rinnai Solar Gas Pump - Sunmaster Gas Storage Tank - 175ltrs I hope that helps. Re: Building a Waldorf by Porter Davis 113May 18, 2011 8:59 pm All I can say is thankyou, we are building a Kallara (single) with PD, and are looking at a very similar colour choice (externals) The bricks look great, the roof looks great, the render is different to our pick (time capsule) however, we are so happy we have a blog like this to look and see what we may have! What was the actual name of the tile you picked? Just for reference.
