Ren123, my colour throughout is Bristol Nomadic Ivory, full strength. A very close match is apparently Taubmans Antique Ivory. If you do a search on the forum for these 2 paint colours, several threads come up Best to get sample pots, though, you can't trust a colour from a photo on the internet! Just wanted to say thanks for your colour help, we have painted the formal dining/ lounge room in antique ivory, and it has warm and cosy look to it. Here is a photo, with only 1 coat done at the moment. 2/2010 8 acres purchased 11/2011 plans submitted 3/2012 plans approved 13/4 slab done 16/5 brickwork and roof finished 4/6 lock up 29/6 kitchen and bathrooms in 30/6 currently painting Re: The Story of Stormy's Castle. *Spare room progress* 1804Jul 10, 2012 10:43 am That's great, Ren123, I hope you are happy with it! Not a lot really! Since going back to work (2 different jobs) I don't get much time for housey stuff anymore, unfortunately. I have started the process of decorating for Christmas, so I'll get all those pics online at some stage, but nothing much has changed. No, I didn't study interior decorating, I just surround myself with the things I love, and it has made a fairly eclectic style that screams 'me'. That's what a home should be! I find a lot of my decor from Bed Bath N Table, Provincial Home Living, IKEA, Freedom, Op Shops, Antique Centres, Target etc, no particular one place. I pretty much throw stuff I love together and it works I will update this thread one day...time is precious at the moment Henley - Wilshire Mk 3 ... I love my house!! Please excuse the phone pics... Christmas came and went, and I never got the chance to finish decorating the house. This year I'll start earlier! My 'colours' were turquoise, blue and silver, and decorated the house, tree and wrapping accordingly. I just can't spare the time at the moment. The furniture came in the form of 2 white ceramic drum stools for the bargain price of $40 each, thanks to The Reject Shop. I got white with the intention of maybe painting them powder or duck egg blue, but I may just keep them white. I'll decide once I have made the buttoned ottoman to go in the room too. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I did go on a bit of a decorating splurge, when news broke on Instagram that Early Settler/Recollections had cheap blue and white ginger jars in store. I just had to add to my collection...and I don't think I'm finished yet, either I bought the tall one, and the 2 middle sized ones. The other 2 I have found at antique centres cheaply.
