We have been advised by stockland that this is going to be an NBN estate form the start. I think there telling porkys... does any know if this is true? Cheers Re: Selandra Rise, Clyde North 70Aug 14, 2011 1:13 pm hi we have to have a smart community pack which is conected by fiber optic cable. it is called a starserve distribution system. hope this helps. Re: Selandra Rise, Clyde North 71Aug 15, 2011 9:27 am Better way in for my first post after lurking for a while. We are building in stage 9, Forest Drive. A little frustrating at the moment as it looks like early November will be the earliest time for our Land to settle. Claire that package is the same as what we have included in our package, I think it's a phone point, NBN ready broadband connection and a HD antenna port (it's all underground Antenna in Selandra Rise). I have breezed over a few posts in relation to slabs, if you haven't finalized plans with your builder already make sure you fix site costs including your slab. Almost every slab laid in the estate will be H Class, which means the foundations on the sides go much deeper (to allow for movement when there are high clay densities in the soil) and upgrading to a H class is sometimes quite costly! Oh we are building with Henley, as far as I know our whole street is? Re: Selandra Rise, Clyde North 72Aug 16, 2011 10:32 am crtx HSP701 Yuhu....seems like things are falling in place. Site Start: 20-Jul-2011. Slab will be done in 2 weeks time. Exciting....Exciting.... P.S: Sorry to hear about all the delays with other stages. I guess it all works out well in the end. Don't get too stressed. Congrats, it all happens very quickly once you get a site start. I'm heading to check out our progress on Saturday fingers crossed the frames up! Hi, I had visited on Fri eve. Your house is coming up really fast and nice. Re: Selandra Rise, Clyde North 73Aug 16, 2011 10:57 am lukasbuild Better way in for my first post after lurking for a while. Yes we are pretty happy with it all Bricks should be completed next week and it's at lock up stage only took them 5 weeks. we should be in by End of October if all goes well I already had a window stolen!!!!!!!!!!!! builder said quicker its at lock up less likely for stuff to grow legs. Heading over Saturday morning with the fencing guy to take a look at the property can't wait plenty of photos already Living in the Porter Davis Foxley 27 @ Selandra Rise Re: Selandra Rise, Clyde North 75Aug 17, 2011 4:27 pm Hi guys just wondering how the delayed titeles affected peoples build costs? If we go over a certain date they bill us 0.5% of the total contract price.. dam rain http://lindeman28.blogspot.com - Our building blog Re: Selandra Rise, Clyde North 76Aug 18, 2011 11:17 am Went to the estate last weekend. A lot of houses under construction. Seems like its going to be a great community to live in. As for NBN , I got told that barring stages 1,2 & 3 all other stages will have optic fibre cabling and stockland is working with Telstra & a couple of other providers to provide telecom & internet services. Hence, people in Selandra will not face issue with connecting to the phone & internet like some of the other estates in the area. Our titles should release in september & hoping to be in the new house this time next year. Re: Selandra Rise, Clyde North 77Aug 18, 2011 11:20 am Loren4 Is your the closest end to the school or closer to the other end, I'm at the end of that street in Nokota lane on the corner, I'm right on the park there, last time i checked your street wasnt sealed Hi Loren our block is closer to the school. Re: Selandra Rise, Clyde North 78Aug 18, 2011 11:22 am Trewman Hi guys just wondering how the delayed titeles affected peoples build costs? If we go over a certain date they bill us 0.5% of the total contract price.. dam rain Hey Trewman Iam building with a private builder & hence prices have not changed even though the titles have been pushed. however, I have heard from others that most main stream builders increase prices if the dates are pushed more than 6months. Some even do it at 3months. I guess it comes down to negotiating with the sales rep. Thanks Rajiv Re: Selandra Rise, Clyde North 79Aug 18, 2011 11:28 am Anyone in this forum participating in the Survey being conducted by Australian Planning Institure & RMIT this Tuesday. Thanks Rajiv Re: Selandra Rise, Clyde North 80Aug 23, 2011 8:35 pm Hi there We're building stage 3 on Connewara Crescent and have reached lock up already. Builder reckons end of Sept finish, sounds a bit optimistic but we can but hope! Does anyone have any fencing contractors they can recommend? Spoke to the land sales office and they have suggested Somerset fencing, has anyone used them or know of them? CRTX - Notice you mentioned you were meeting a fencing contractor on site? Who are you using? Thanks Martin The warning is on the sticker on the door too. Second the aluminium powdercoat 6 19117 Hi, can anyone recommend a custom home builder who can build in north east area? Looking to build a custom 4-br energy-efficient home with a max budget of 750k. If they… 0 23657 May I ask why you chose not to use GJ Gardiner? I'm actually meeting with one of the sales guys tomorrow for an appointment. Definitely not signing anything yet… 3 14041 |
