L shape bench top with waterfall

Hi all I'm building and I have a L shape kitchen island bench would it look strange if i had the waterfall at both ends of my L shape island bench or should I just go plain viynal wrap? Bench in 40mm stone

Hope this helps. I have cropped the pic and made it bigger (I think). The join goes from the corner at the back to the front of the bench.
