Shon, Luke and Peter are in. People tend to come on H1 less often once house is finished :p I think I'm a testament to this! I've got a new job and we have a couple of gorgeous kittens keeping us busy now, and once you get into your houses you may be more inclined to spend time exploring the physical house rather than talking about it online (or as the case may be, still unpacking boxes!) Things we'd change: higher garage roof! put tiles in the laundry rather than vinyl (my bf's fault) bigger bath and a whole host of other stuff we couldn't afford to do because this is our first house, so they're all going on the list of things for the second house So glad to have such a lovely bunch of neighbours though, wouldn't change that bit at all! Aubin Gardens -Stage 9 & 10 - Come and meet your neighbours! 572Apr 29, 2011 9:46 pm It's pretty long winded! Basically you have to have a design not sure if it has to be professional or not? A list of plants etc all of this needs to be approved and then from what I gather, you will be refunded when it is complete. No guarantees with the refund though! Re: Aubin Gardens -Stage 9 & 10 - Come and meet your neighbo 574Apr 29, 2011 10:32 pm give them a call the lady was really nice and took the time to explain it. It sort of went straight in one ear and out the other though as I had house brain that day. Re: Aubin Gardens -Stage 9 & 10 - Come and meet your neighbo 577Apr 30, 2011 3:05 pm Brooke, We can discuss once I'm back... def not too hard esp such a small area. Once the carpet is down and i can swing a cat in the garage I'll have access to all my tools... then will just be a case of you finding some tiles to go down.... Re: Aubin Gardens -Stage 9 & 10 - Come and meet your neighbo 579May 02, 2011 12:30 am Just a little bit of heads up! When i was at my block today, i noticed something really ******* going on. I saw an asian guy in a white daewoo (1AHT-???) driving around slowly looking suspicious, doing laps, and behind him another asian guy was walking with dirty hands (looked like he had been handling bricks etc). I was suspecting maybe they were driving around loading up bricks in the car. Hmm, i was close to calling the name and shame number but wasnt 100% sure. if anyone sees the same thing, call 1300 2 REWARD (1300 273 9 273), NAME and SHAME hotline. Just before i left i saw the busted up white daewoo parked outside a house in build stage, trunk and doors open and no one around. Re: Aubin Gardens -Stage 9 & 10 - Come and meet your neighbo 580May 02, 2011 2:07 am I have seen this car before when our place was being built. I just gave them the look of "I am watching you" and then they drove off. I did not see them take anything. The only thing to add to these comments is that where possible it's always good to try and work with people than just say "no" because you can.
