I find the main problem with the CSR and S/S model is these people have no power to make decisions. When I built with a smaller custom builder, I was dealing direct with one of company directors and all issues are much easier to solve.

I also get the feeling the S/S may be incentivised on building under a particular cost budget and building a certain volume of homes per year, which is why they don't want to fix things.

Customer Service Representative I'd say....sounds like a way to segregate the site supervisor from the customer unlike the "good old days"....bit like when you used to be able to talk to someone with dirty hands when you got your car serviced rather than a mouthpiece in a suit......
