Yes, that's why we pay a fortune to have their stormwater engineers assess the land and design the stormwater systems!! Can't believe you were about to get flooded. No consolation to have Masterton offer to replace everything when you've just moved in... I hope they can fix it all up as soon as possible. xo Masterton Santorini Grande 23/01/09 First Tender 17/11/09 Contract signed 25/01/10 Slab 27/03/10 Frame 7/5/10 Bricks 1/07/10 Roof 9/7/10 Lock up 24/8/10 PCI 16/09/2010 KEYS! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=16418 Re: The Vardy's House - Masterton Crystal MK3 315Sep 15, 2010 2:11 pm Deemaree Kyndylan Capers: viewtopic.php?f=36&t=46852 My blog: http://www.sufficientlysufficient.blogspot.com/ Re: The Vardy's House - Masterton Crystal MK3 316Sep 15, 2010 2:45 pm lizzy stardust Oh my goodness Renee, that's just ridiculous! That's just terrible!! I am in shock!! This should be on A Current Affair!!! This is terrible of Masterton. Come to think of it, my yard slopes down like that too and we havent cut retaining walls yet but will need to after handover, and how do I know this wont happen to me?? Do you need dish drains?? They are builders, they should know this stuff. Sorry to hear and hope that it gets rectified. Keep us updated. I bet that's all you needed after waiting so long for your home, being pregnant and then having to go through this massive drama!! I bet that has totally killed your decorating mood. In one breath I was going to say CONGRATULATIONS about moving in then I read about the flood in your alfresco area. And being 4.5 months pregnant, I can imagine how exhausted / upset you would be. I hope you get it fixed soon... and the rain stops so you can do that! Good luck. And a reminder to us all behind you (that would be waaaayyy behind you in my case , to get on with the landscaping ASAP after the build. (Especially as I was just saying to DH the other day we could postpone that part of it for a while. Um, maybe not after reading your post). Thanks for sharing.
