Browse Forums Building A New House Re: LYNDARUM / AURORA ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 594Jul 15, 2010 7:58 am Japan - I have a copy I could email you but mine is for stages 5-7 so probably doesn't apply to you. I'd pop into the Discovery Pavillion and ask them for a copy. If that doesn't get you anywhere phone VicUrban and ask them to email you a copy. Mayank - I said the EXACT same comment as you a few pages ago and got harrassed a bit for picking on poor Aurora. I agree completely with you. I drive through the two estates every single day (several times a day) and the difference in overall street appeal is vast. I have complained to VicUrban numerous times and have not had any response. I think volume of complainers might make a difference so feel free to get on the whinge bandwagon!!! I've been complaining to Sonya at VU (via email). She is usually very efficient and has managed to make things happen in the past, so that's who I've been speaking to. No joy so far. I've complained to council about the dirty roads (my husband had a nasty cycling accident from slipping on the mud a few weeks ago). They said they'd issue some clean up notices to builders in the area, but this doesn't help us - we don't have any building right near us, just mess from the trucks. We even spoke to the local paper (there was an article in the paper last week). So I feel as though I've done all I can at this point. If everyone got up and said something it would no doubt help (?) On the City of Whittlesea website there's an "email us" link - this is where I emailed initially and got a response from the Acting Manager of Local Laws. self::bbcode_second_pass_code_cb Thanks Acherion - amen to that! My friend changed over her ducted heating unit recently She's in a two storey home and they used a crane. She said it wasn't that hard, so that gives me hope. Re: LYNDARUM / AURORA ESTATES: Epping, Victoria 596Jul 15, 2010 12:30 pm Does anyone with a block in Lyndarum have a good contact for getting information about the progress of the land settlement? The people I have dealt with just tow the company line and say it is on schedule. I don't really care how late it is going to be, just want to know a realistic timeframe so we can start planning other things, but none of the AV Jennings people seem to understand that. Thanks!
