As i complained to them on the phone, they then said they could do it, but they have to rent a line from Telstra so the cost would go up to $140. I figured $140 was still worth it to keep my 200gb per month....... Re: williams landing 992Jul 01, 2010 1:18 pm gsingh Hi Myob412 We are in Martynside Ave. Building with Nava Homes. We were going to start building this week but found that someone had dump a truck load of soil and rocks on our site last week which needs to be cleared first now. Any recommendations for a rubbish removalist would be welcomed. Hi gsingh, I think we may be neighbours as there is a pile of dirt on the empty block next to our house. We had the same problem when we went to build. The house to the right of us had dumped their dirt on our block. I rang their builder and asked them to remove it and it was gone within a couple of days. I'm not sure who's dirt is on your block, perhaps the block behind you as they have just recently dug out to do the slab. Our dirt was spread out ages ago and I can't see that they've recently dug any out, plus we didn't have that much rock as appears to be in that pile. Perhaps you can do a ring around to the builders and ask them to remove it? It will save you having to pay a rubbish removalist. Good luck with your build, what Nava home are you building? -------------------------------------- Building Sanctuary with Boutique Homes Williams Landing Re: williams landing 993Jul 03, 2010 6:24 pm Hi everyone, iam building in the metro release and today noticed they have put in water taps in the front yard does anyone know if they are permanent? or are they just for the builders. Cause anyone could just turn them on and just let them keep running and we would have to flip the bill and also a lot of water wastage. Re: williams landing 995Jul 04, 2010 10:26 pm do u just buy them from bunnings. Do the builders need to use the water? or should i be putting a lock on it? Hi Roxy, Thanks for the info. Yes we could be neighbours. Someone drove truck into our block, made a u-trun (as the block on the other side is vaccant) and dumped the load. There are tyre marks for the same all the way from nature strip. It is unfortunate but seems like a deliberate act of cheap disposal. We are building Fiore. Do the builders need to use the water? or should i be putting a lock on it? have a chat to your SS and see what he thinks, as far as I am awhere noone has come around and turned taps on purpose but builders from other blocks will use your water this happened to us but were not worried about it Re: williams landing 998Jul 05, 2010 8:43 am Hi Roxy, Thanks for the info. Really unfortunate. Sorry to hear about it. Hopefully once it's removed ur build can get underway. It's very exciting to c it take shape...until it gets to lockup and it slows down Good luck! -------------------------------------- Building Sanctuary with Boutique Homes Williams Landing Re: williams landing 999Jul 07, 2010 3:53 pm Great to see that metro release blocks are settled as well. Looking forward to have more neighbours around as all the blocks (metro release) behind our house are vacant at the moment. Lot 250 Davenport Dr. Awaiting PCI.
