Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Boutique Homes 46Apr 12, 2010 8:23 pm Welcome and please do share more about your build Too little Boutique owners around. Paperwork took alot of time for me (long list of variations and personnel changes), but once building started so far so good (heading towards lockup stage). They do seem organised during the build stage and I am overall please with the quality control. Communication has been sufficient but not there strong point. E.g. I found out my building commencement through my neighbour... Re: Boutique Homes 47Apr 13, 2010 2:34 pm Hi, We building with Boutique Homes and our construction has just started a couple of weeks ago. Slab is due to be poured at the end of this week. I find the whole Boutique company a pleasure to deal with. We had some paperwork issues in the beginning but most of that was due to the strict guidelines of our estate (Williams Landing) and also due to the many personal changes to the house we are building (Sanctuary 31). Customer service with Boutique with everyone I have dealt with so far is fantastic, they are very quick to respond to emails which is great and give you updates along the way. I have to admit though that we weren't advised they had started on site either although we did know it was coming up. If anything, it just made it all the more exciting when we drove past our block and saw an excavator on it!! Good luck with your build Bungefitz. Tuned86, I'm enjoying reading about your build also. Like you said there are very few Boutique Homes topics on this website. Cheers, Roxy1210 Re: Boutique Homes 48Jul 09, 2011 11:07 am Just wondering what's happened with all those people building with boutique, cant see any post after apr 2010, really would like to know what happened with all the people they start building with boutique. are you happy with them, their build, promises etc?. We are planing to go with them as a house and land package. cheers Re: Boutique Homes 49Jul 09, 2011 3:06 pm House is still standing I believe they've relocated to docklands. I've just submitted my 12 month warranty service with maybe 10 items, mostly all fittings and things missed during final inspection. Faxed it in, and they gave rang me the next day for the appointment - certainly wasn't expecting that quick of a response (maybe their paperwork has improved with their shiny new office Will report back on how they handle my service report. We looked at lots of builders, Porter Davies, Metri, Henley, Urban Edge, Carisle, Urban Design but we really liked Boutique's well thoughtout floor plan (no odd walls sticking out here), wall-wall benchtops, little details make their designs just that much better. There building quality is...i'd say about standard, really depends on the contractors you get but they executed it to the plan. They in the business of building homes. Re: Boutique Homes 50Jul 09, 2011 3:33 pm Thanks, my preffered once wr carlisle, urbanedge nd boutique, we wr abt to sign a contract with ub, but boutique comes with a nice house nd land package, so wanna know hows there process and time they took, would you mind to share your whole exp with them? Can see a lots of negative rewes abt them in the product revew forum, but their display homes are awesome also the sales guys Re: Boutique Homes 51Jul 09, 2011 5:03 pm We are extremely happy with our build with Boutique. Been in the house for 9 months and have only had one problem with cracked tiles and water coming through but that was when we had those freakish winds and heavy heavy rain. Our whole neighborhood had problems and they aren't with Boutique. Nevertheless Boutique came out and arranged a full roof tile inspection and repainted the ceiling where it was water damaged. They are fantastic. The sales guy we dealt with still keeps in contact with us and the client liason was awesome too, very quick to reply to my many emails, which toward the end were daily! She was only too happy to respond tho, something I know other builders have trouble doing. I say go ahead! -------------------------------------- Building Sanctuary with Boutique Homes Williams Landing Re: Boutique Homes 52Dec 04, 2011 9:10 am My experience with their 12-month warranty period has been fantastic. I think the extended period is an excellent idea since things will be alot more noticable at this age. They were extremely helpful and fast and fixed everything that was asked of them. We had water/pipe hammering issues resolved by arrester, architrave cracks, missed paint spots, window locks, door realignment etc. 10 16402 I would never build with Fowler homes. I built with them in 2021 and till date maintenance issues are pending. All their existing trades and businesses don't work with… 14 109827 |
