Yeah, it's nice in nearly every way to be close to the construction zone. I get to walk thru it when I want and chat to the tradies to see what they are up to. I mean, I'm not really meant to be there but they let me. The only draw back is that I do night duty and the noise during the day wakes me up.
Alrighty, Day 20 today - Brickies say they will be on site for another week. The head brickie, Greg, reckons that the external bricks will be fully completed next Tuesday and they will finish the job off the following Monday or Tuesday.

So everything is moving right along!! Have been shopping for carpet and tiles and have basically picked it out. Gotta see how much in the budget is left for air con!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
