Hey all
To give you an idea of my dilemma, we are building with a major project home builder. We did our colour selections in about March of this year, but were told by our Colour Consultant that we could change these at any time. We decided in about June that we wanted to change some colour selections (the house had not even begun construction phase so we were told this was okay), so I called our Customer Service Consultant and she advised that I would need to email the changes to a customer service email address, and as long as it was attentioned to her, she would pass it on to the right person. I proceeded to send the email straight away and as per her instructions attentioned it to her. I spoke to the Consultant later in the week and she acknowledged that she received the changes....
This afternoon I went to our house to check progress and low and behold I apparently have the same benchtop that was set out in the original selections and it is black (our colour scheme is beige/neutrals)!!!!!! I almost died. We tried calling our site supervisor about 6 times this afternoon, but as always he did not answer nor did he return our calls. I have not had a very good run with this builder and am hoping desperately that they come to the party, acknowledge that they made a mistake and agree to change the benchtop to what it is meant to be without any additional costs.
I am just wondering if there is anyone else out there that has had a similar situation and what happened in the end?
Thanks
