I'm in NSW and am applying CDC for my main house. On the CDC submission plan, it marked 'Retaining wall by owner'. The wall only needs to be 650mm at the highest point and drop to 400mm at the end, however it's right on the boundary of the lot. I'm thinking just wooden sleepers under the fence. 1. Do I need a separate approval for the fence? If so should it be Council DA or another CDC? how long is the approval valid for? 2.
