As part of subdivision, a new sewer line with manholes is needed to built.
Excluding the design/Sydney Water Section 73/trench excavation, the lowest quote I got for the job is $40K.
The job looks rather simple, including:
* A new MH (Manholes) to be constructed over the existing end;
* A 40 meters 150mm pipe not encased from MH to MS (Maintenance Shaft) to be laid; and
* A 16 meters sewer encased from MS to the end with rodding point to be laid.
I find it hard to understand why it is so expensive to get a new waste sewer built. Can someone share insights? Thanks in advance.
