I’m sure you will be fine. I have been delayed at every stage unfortunately which is uncommon I do have to say.

They quickly found our main shower is leaking so some of the tiling and waterproofing as to be redone. Another week’s delay September has felt like almost a write off we’ve had so little progress. We had an on site meeting on 31st August and SS expected us to be having PCI last week. Now we’re going to be lucky if we get PCI before mid October assuming we have no more issues. It’s disappointing because it hasn’t been lack of trades or any fault of our SS. It’s been waiting for Wisdom to make their staff available. QA feels like the construction equivalent of waiting for drafting in admin. Wisdom Landscapes finally formed our driveway as well. Another item that was originally meant to happen about 3 weeks ago.... Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Building Wisdom Aspiration 31 at Willowdale https://ourwillowdalehome.wordpress.com/ Everything seems to drag in the final weeks. We had a great pace with our build but as we moved into internals everything slowed down. What’s most frustrating for us is a lack of quality in some jobs. For example, we have a number of crooked bricks. When brickies come back they ruin the render. Renderers come back and then paint needs redoing. After all that we still find crooked bricks and the cycle starts all over again. Same with electrical where they damage the gyprock. They come back to repair and repaint, then the electrician all over again. If only things were done right the first time. At times it feels as though we’ll never get there, but apparently they’re aiming for handover this Friday so I hope it goes ahead. I’ve taken a punt and booked our removalists and deliveries from the Sat onwards, praying I won’t need to reschedule. 🤞 Omg. How come it was missed by SS during his supervision? May 2017 or 2018? We’ve been in admin since March and are waiting for our submission plans. Yet still waiting for stair, kitchen quotes etc to come back. I am woriednwell have Council arrival and still waiting for colours to be finalized. Is all the extras that wisdoms throw at you after you have paid your deposit so your forced to pay it. I am exhausted and lost my excitement 😩 2017 I’m sure you will be fine. I have been delayed at every stage unfortunately which is uncommon I do have to say. Oh wow! That is a long time! Ours is a straight build not KDRB and it’s taken this long because they are busy. Took 5 weeks to get plans back from drafting each time so that just added time. I’m hoping we’ll be out of admin by November. Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 12733Sep 29, 2018 11:14 pm Hi, Has anyone included the Aircon Liner Grills in their build. At our appointment we added some in the bulk heads in the kitchen/ living. Now the Aircon representative suggest we go for the Grill Strip as the Liner Grill causes condensation and is noisy! Weird wasn’t mentioned in our meeting but now at the last min. Any advice? They weren’t mentioned to us at all, what stage of the process did the rep tell you to change? Re: Building with Wisdom Homes 12737Sep 30, 2018 6:15 pm Hi All, hope someone here can help! Most of our quotes for CQ are coming back high due to our expensive tastes We are not considering going from Prestige to Signature as it might provide better value.(25k upgrade). I've build a quick excel to understand if it is actually better value or not, the one item i'm stuck on is the full hight tiling to the bathrooms. I've msgs Di Lorenzo but there are not much help so far. My last message to them is below. Does anyone know how it works? To be it's not much of a saving with the 2 included walls @ $35/sqm. Esp when the tile we want is $50/sqm + labour? ================== Are you able to help me understand how it works if we have Signature vs Prestige and what Di Lorenzo will charge us. Let's say we only want the DLT85546 tile to keep it simple and if we take a normal size bathroom such as 4m by 4m and 2.5m high ceilings. So each wall is 10sqm If we were on Signature that means we have a $35/sqm allowance for the tile and labour for all walls, is that correct? So if we have Signature we have the two extra walls included which means we save 10sqm * $35/sqm = $350 per wall (based on the bathroom size above). Is that right or am i missing something here? I'm asking as if the above is true then upgrading to Signature probably won't make sense for us as it's not a huge saving per wall. Are you able to help me understands this? If your on the prestige and adding the two other walls to be tiled you would also need to pay labour for the extra walls on top of the tiles regardless of size. If the wall as are included like in the signature then some wall tile sizes for labour are already included. I’m sorry but my price sheet is extremely outdated so couldn’t tell you which ones. The $35 sqm is just the cost of the tile, the signature package would also include the cost of the laying if it’s a standard sized tile. Can’t help you with what that’s worth though. Full height tiling very roughly speaking is worth about $1000 per wall with standard sized tiles. Building Monte Carlo 40- Wisdom homes Can someone please offer some advice? Im DESPERATE.
