Don't think M will allow outside contractors to do simultaneously with their build. We have to arrange earlier as we have Sec 173 to abide so we have to put in our fencing plan with the council before we can build the fence. 13 Jul 2018 258 Silver Member Re: FIRST HOME – METRICON WINCHESTER 28 72Aug 28, 2018 11:40 am shokel1975@Wild, It is best to do after build - so it doesn't get damaged by trades. However, you will need to check with your council (and it should be stipulated in your contract of land purchase), if you need to build fencing before moving in. Our council needs fences to be constructed before moving in - but not all councils have same conditions. So glad to see all the cabinets are in! They are all covered for painting work started today. SM said tiling work will start next week! M does not do fencing and we didn't opt for blinds and curtains during our selection. But we just went down to Livelight who works with M for blinds consultant. They are offering 10% off for M customers. We shall see their quote tomorrow. If the eaves are fixed first, the eaves line is about 250 mm below the top plate of wall frame.
