I cannot believe it. I am not happy with the type of retaining walls they want to use (I want i-beam straight metal ones, they said an additional cost between $1.5k-$2k even though the specifications doesnt state the ones to be used), that they pour a straight concrete slab without a step down into the garage which is not only practical but also, a safety feature. I enquired about this and they wanted to slap me with an additional $4.5k charge, it is not that much work, maybe a little bit extra form work but anyway.
