Has anyone any advice about selecting a security system with porter davis? they have quoted us $1302 for a security system with 4 sensors plus strobe and alarm plus $72 additional motion sensor and $129 for a Mode 3 phone point = total approx. $1500. Does this sound reasonable or would it be better to have a wireless system fitted after handover? Any advice welcome.

Once NBN rolls around the phone line goes away so the Mode 3 phone point becomes useless.
