What a beautiful house!!

We upgraded a lot somewhere in this thread there is a list of what we chose but I bet we added 20k on.

I wasn't sure if they'd go but they look good. I was worried that the bird cage light would hang too far down but its just right.

We had valuer go out this morning and has reported back to the bank.

We are all hoping that payment will be processed today and in the builders account by tomorrow so we can get our hands on those keys!

Despite the set backs in our relationship it will be nice after such a long journey to be in the house. I actually am very impressed with our builder. Apart from a few communication issues mid-way through the build has progressed smoothly and on schedule and is finished to such a high standard.

I would take moved in photos but it will look like a student flat for some time due to not being able to buy the nice furniture we had planned.

Congratulations normally the builder will meet you onsite, give you keys, do a quick show of anything they think you might need to know to use, hand you all your instructions and warranties for stuff like a/c etc give you a gift basket and folder for filling out issues for the 12 week checkup.

We got the builder out in 20 minutes but we were in a rush as I had to go to work and wanted a couple minutes just being in my new house and hubby wanted to rush starting to move things in.

Really it's a anticlimax, hand keys over, let you turn you're key in the front door and show you the construction key doesn't work anymore and it's done and yours.

I keep seeing your house in front of me as I'm driving home nowadays! We are staying with friends just near you whilst our house is being built around the corner in bushland grove. It's so beautiful your house, it's really stands out being at the end of the street like that. Sorry to hear about your situation though! I hope things start looking up for you soon. Our start date is Monday!
