Yeah that was very disappointing, I have a commitment with my builder for them to start building by 27 Oct otherwise they'd charge me penalties, I have written to real estate also that how is it possible that they did not know this in Jan, extremely sceptic now of even the new dates.... We are literally around the corner on lot 33! I'm a little sceptic too. We paid a little extra to delay our start date by a month "just in case", so we're meant to start by late November. I'm worried that even this won't be enough time for everything to happen. The real estate told me that they will be knocking down the double storey brick house on the corner in the next couple of weeks. We've just secured lot 7 in Piccadilly Estate, looking forward to meeting some friendly neighbours on here soon. We're looking at building with Eden Brae as Bede, their sales consultant, has been an extreme help so we feel like we owe it to him to help build our first home. Hope to meet some friendly faces soon. P.S I spoke to Joel Wood from Arris Group earlier today and he advised the road construction and services will be starting in the next week/2 weeks for anyone wanting an update Re: Anyone else building at Piccadilly Estate, Riverstone? 49Apr 07, 2016 9:57 pm Hi future neighbours!! I drove past the development today and finally some movement!! The house that was to be torn down 3 weeks ago looks to be finally coming down!!! Fingers crossed things will start moving quicker now as we can work towards a registration date of October. Seeing how quickly these developments progress once they get moving I am hopeful that's the case. Definitely made the whole process stress-free and smooth for us. Regards Hey bud, I wouldn't be able to tell you how long it'd take to finish the work. That's all Joel was able to tell me, said council is holding up a lot of the plans :/ Arris would be in charge of earth works, roads and service supply (power, water, sewage) I would assume. Re: Anyone else building at Piccadilly Estate, Riverstone? 53Apr 11, 2016 11:10 pm Are you building with Eden Brae as well? What plan are you going for? Bede's been an absolute legend! We are building the Livingstone 22 - four bedroom single storey home with a study and double garage. Just finished our colour appointments a couple of weeks ago! What design have you gone ahead with? What plan are you going for? Bede's been an absolute legend! We are building the Livingstone 22 - four bedroom single storey home with a study and double garage. Just finished our colour appointments a couple of weeks ago! What design have you gone ahead with? Oh wow, Livingstone 22 is nice. Went to the ponds and saw the display home for it. Particularly liked the butlers pantry off the kitchen We're going for one of the smaller blocks (313 square metres) so Bede's provided a plan that's not on the website. It's called the Terrigal 19, 3 bedroom with 2 living space etc. Stock standard home, definitely not as grand as the Livingstone! It's an 8.4m x 21m dwelling so quite a long house but pretty narrow. Re: Anyone else building at Piccadilly Estate, Riverstone? 57May 09, 2016 9:24 am abdm14 Anyone heard any updates on this? I know the house and the concrete slab next to this are completely gone now but haven't heard any more updates Drove past yesterday, still no further progress. House has been knocked down but no further earth works. Only changes I've noticed are more signs advertising the estate. Re: Anyone else building at Piccadilly Estate, Riverstone? 58May 09, 2016 7:48 pm Did you get the email update from McGrath last week, stating earthmoving works would start end of May? Although I recall they previously saying January and then beginning of March, so I am not holding my breath. I think the hold up is with Council, who keep requesting changes to the plans. So registration is now pushed back to 'end of 2016'. I drive past most days so will provide an update if I notice any further developments. Re: Anyone else building at Piccadilly Estate, Riverstone? 59May 09, 2016 10:26 pm ozitzen Hello Neighbours, Has any one been to the site recently ? Just curious to see if the excavation has progressed or not ? Well when i went last time a few weeks ago then only progress i could see the demolition of the building but that is about it, i don't think excavation has even started.
