And to top it all off I finally heard back from my site supervisor today to say he is leaving Bell River...

The site supervisors are dropping like flies, I met our new one today and he just shook his head when I told him the bathroom floor issues had been going on since early February. He told me that our old SS probably new he was jumping ship and just didn't bother to get anything sorted.

They have also stained our front door, which should be painted brilliant white.

mcosta, I spoke to head office on Wednesday they just employed 3 new SS this week, we have one of them, yours should be using the same mobile as your last one did. Or just do what I have been doing, show up at the site office, they have to answer you when your standing right in front of them.

Anyone building with Bellriver in Edmondson paek??
I am building with BR on Edmondson park, dalmataia avenue. My land just got registered on feb 1st week and got settled on 29th of April.. I can see People still working on land and building the streets when I visit the site(dalmataia avenue). How about yours? Whats your location? My house is oakland, torino facade.

My partner and I are also building with bell river in edmondson park. we got our land registered already and we settled it on the 29th feb.
we got the rochester with sienna facade... and we are waiting on few variations to comeback to us. They have the slowest and careless customer service ever. I am trying to be patient, but i am kind of losing it.

Thank you for message, glad to know that you are also building with BR in Edmondson pk. I am in 170 dalmataia ave area, are you in same area? I paid around $640 for double story about 1 year ago.
As I am so fade up and tired of Bellriver and its slowest progress of variations and management of building, I have no choice other than completing the variations, since they took months n months to send me quotes and needed to done with my construction loan as as possible. May be we can put a complaint about these delays and irresponsible to the Bellriver higher management level. I think we deserve much better service after paying such a huge amount. Plz let me know what you think.
Regarding the variations, most of the upgrades were very expensive such as colorbond to tile roof was about $4000. Changing to gas cook top
Was $950 etc What about you? I am still fighting for some of variations, either they say its not available or they are very expensive.
What roof was your standard, please share your other things n experience with BR

Bits / Costa,

We finally got our doors installed last week after months of delay.... Yay!!!!

There is still so much of work to be done - I don't know how they will deliver in 4 weeks time...in January we were told by end of March... I don't think they can get there... It's so frustrating it's not funny... Hoping atleast the finish is good...

We met our neighbours of the corner plot who have shifted and they said finishing has been good..I hope they live upto everyone's expectation.we were told it would be given by feb end but now our SS hasn't informed us about the PCI dates.
Still lot of work to be done for us though so not sure how much more time they will take..
Costa are ur internal issues fixed??

Hi Arpan, I will be close to the Dalmatia Ave too. I paid about the same, but for a single store, price for the land has gone way up.
We all know that builders, make way extra money selling the upgrades... but it is being ridiculous the amount in the quotes we are receiving. My roof is colorbond and i am not planing to change... and the gas cooktop was standard inclusion for me.
did you increase your ceiling height? how much did they charge you? how big are your eaves?

I am off to a great start with our new SS I called and left him a message, still no reply. Why do they think it's acceptable to ignore their customers. No wonder they will never be a Wisdom, Metricon or Eden Brae builder. Once Bellriver has your money, they couldn't care less about you.

It went well Bits and I finally have the keys!
I still need my oven replaced and I'm still seeking compensation for them breaching the contract length but at least now I have possssion.
I 100% agree with you with communication, they simply don't care. But don't give up!

looks like our new SS is someone called Anthony.He said by end of month .Keeping fingers crossed.
We also met with the front landscaper and came to know that they are not giving buffalo grass

!!The landscaper said builder is only paying them for the cheaper type of grass so that doesn't sound right:(..

Could you please provide us some headsup, tips, or things that we should be careful of or remember while construction or things that we should be aware of.. Please leave some of your experience..

Just registered last week on Road 5 (off Grange Ave/Road 4), Burawa rise... not sure yet what 'd be the house no and the name of the street? anyone registered on the Road 5 ? Also looking for a good builder ... so let us know how is your experiences with the Bell River and others ...Thx. Sunny

Things are beginning to move for us with final coat of paint progressing. Our SS is good - but I blame the head office for delays.. Too slow and unresponsive..

I am chasing them to send invoice so I can pay the next stage.. Lol..
