Who is building with Beechwood

We've still got floors, bench tops and vanities to do before we can move in. We should be in, but I don't think we'll be very settled. Then outside will start. I look forward to seeing your landscaping.

Just wondering if anyone has painted a room in Taubmans paint, colour Flotsam that they could share a pic? Starting to wonder if that's the actual colour/shade I'm after?

Just wondering if anyone that has not used finance to build their home, how did you go when you had to inspect to make sure all building to date was in order so to speak for a progress payment, as normally the bank would do it before the actual progress payment was made.

Can i ask what colour is your benchtop, and where did you chose your splashback tile from, we are building in Sydney and have chosen black bench top but not sure what colour splashback to do (either white or black) but i quite like the look of the black as we have also chosen similar colour floor tiles that you have

Hi Jonesy,
From memory, the bench top is White Valencia from the diamond gloss range. Has the stone look to it.

The Splashback was from TileDirect. Was an upgrade, but only cost $240 for it.
Although it is not the colour we chose, I think we will try and get reimbursed but keep it.

If anyone has any tips to look for in the walkthrough, would be really handy

yeah that's a tough one, the excitement of a new house but still lots to do, at least you'll be all settled in the new year!

Im pretty sure I've missed the chance of having a slab by chrissy, bit of a bummer I really had my heart set on that, but at least all the boring paper work will be done..Lol

..and again our back door has been left wide open with all our appliances sitting there for the taking.

Pretty annoyed at this. Hoping I can get money back for the 'protective fencing' that isn't in tact, let alone leaving doors open.

We have finally got our loan documents from the bank and signed them. Hopefully letter of commencement with go to beechwood next week. Unfortunately that puts our 28 days right on Christmas so not expecting any movement until end of January now.
