We have ours next Thursday and they still have the A/C , hot water, garage floor to be fixed , painting of downpipes, cornice to bathrooms, skirting to walkin robe plus painting , internal door hardware, all silicone to bathrooms areas. I would have thought all finished before this walk thru When We had our PCI, We still had the front down pipes to be installed & painted, some plumbing fixups & some paint touch ups to go, nothing major but everything that was still to be done was recorded & signed by us. Even I am shocked how quickly ours is coming together! My friend built around the corner from us not long ago and had same SS, he is awesome! Hope it keeps up the pace as our lease is up mid August lol! Yes yours is really moving along it's great to watch. I might swap houses then if yours is going to be done sooner? hahah. Well I went for a driveby and saw bricks today. I was so excited and then the SS just happened to rock up and I almost hugged him. Then he tells me we are next to be bricked ! woo hoo. they are on the house up the street at the moment which looks close to being done. so shouldn't be long now. SS is great and seems on top of everything. As of today, the job is on the construction list. I wonder if it will take 20 days to peg out the site? Now the fun begins. Congrats David We went on the construction list at the beginning of last week. Nothing has happened yet though. We did get a call from the Area Manager the other day that said he is passing our file over to the slab supervisor who should be in contact with us shortly. My partner said the Area Manager sounded really nice and also very accommodating. Just hope our slab supervisor and our site supervisor will be the same. Just can't wait for things to begin. CathyLeigh Looks like we might be building at the same time Cathy. Now to keep watching for those pegs! Hi David, Ours was pegged and scraped within a few days after getting on the construction list, I think it was in April and someone told us (maybe CLO?) that excavator crews didn't have loads of work on at that time and they expected them there really quickly. So hopefully it won't take long. Bamboo was laid last Wednesday & it really brings it all together nicely. Now I've got the crappy job of painting the Skirting boards. Driveway is being poured Tomorrow so fingers crossed for a dry Day as the place is a Mud pit. The only thing stopping us from moving in is the carpet because it can not be laid until the end of the month. Creedy.
