It looks really fancy. I was planning on installing more fans in the toilet and kids bathroom, looks like I will be shelling out a few more pennies to keep them the same design. The paving should also be completed by then, exciting week ahead. The only problem I have for this is that during the internal clean this week they will most likely close the window that I have been strategically leaving about 1 mm open to get access to the house. Up close photos may have to wait until pci now, which should be about 3 weeks away. On another note, we went for a walk down by the beach about 10 minutes from our place today. The view was absolutely spectacular. I really love this part of the world. Same garage door as mine, different colour though! Lovely being so close to the beach! I am excited about my place for the same reasons! Re: Alex's first home build: Shower screens and mirrors 78Jun 01, 2015 1:07 am Your place looks really good Justin. I've refrained from commenting on your thread because you have enough people to reply to as it is! I'm really lucky that I haven't had to deal with the issues you had. My place has a couple of things I've noticed, but I'm not supposed to be inside to see them, so I can't ask the ss about them. Thank you Alex, you're welcome to comment I don't mind replying to everyone. I am pretty addicted to this H1 forum now haha What I did was say "oh someone left a door u locked" and that's how I'd make a comment on things to fix - may be worth doing that. My builder also knows I have a blog so I am pretty sure they have followed my posts too. I wouldn't be surprised if some things got fixed due to the blog as I may have mentioned it on the blog but both bothered to ask them. It's interesting how it all works. Those look like very odd issues you have there, hopefully they sort them out. Although I have had some issues it's still been minimal when I think about it compared to other builds and even comparing it to my parents last build - that was horrific! I am really happy with the outcome Re: Alex's first home build: Shower screens and mirrors 80Jun 01, 2015 11:07 am I think these are pretty obvious, so the ss would be aware of them. pretty sure the sparky drilled the light in the wrong spot and tried to cover it up.
