Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Anyone Heard of Freelife Homes in WA 432Feb 24, 2015 9:08 pm I am also building with these clowns! My slab went down in April 2014 and my house has been sitting at lockup since October. Nothing has been done for 4 months now and my handover is due in 4 weeks today... Deffinitly going straight to the building commission when my date had been met and still no progress... I get the same excuse every time I contact Freelife - new supervisor has started and is looking after your area, tradies will be in completing works next week bla bla bla... Fed up and so over this useless building company Re: Anyone Heard of Freelife Homes in WA 433Feb 25, 2015 12:47 am Mike_d My slab went down in April 2014 and my house has been sitting at lockup since October. Fed up and so over this useless building company Hi we are having the same trouble, have already started complaint process, you need to contact building commission ASAP. Very interested in getting group action together if your interested. Our slab went down April as well, we have had nothing done since October. Same excuses no trades etc, this had turned into,a nightmare of a build .... Re: Anyone Heard of Freelife Homes in WA 434Feb 25, 2015 10:15 am The longest wait for me (so far) has been a 5 month wait for the plastering... You can build a whole house in that time! Haha. I'm still waiting on a miracle for my house to be complete! Re: Anyone Heard of Freelife Homes in WA 435Feb 25, 2015 11:28 am Interesting video on YouTube if you search "101 residential". I'd also be interested to hear from people who have finished their building journey with Freelife or people who are in fact happy with Freelife. I need some positivity please Re: Anyone Heard of Freelife Homes in WA 436Feb 25, 2015 1:05 pm It is horrible to hear even more people are going to be going through this. I have witnessed many more homes go up from freelife. Devastates me because they cant finish mine but can start new ones and the poor new people that will experience what we all have! Re: Anyone Heard of Freelife Homes in WA 440Feb 26, 2015 3:37 pm Hi guys, I'm in a similar situation. Freelife Homes began construction of my 3x2 house in September 2014 at Alkimos. The slab went down and it was at plate-height within a couple of weeks (still September). Since then there hasn't been any work on site. My story is similar to some of the others here i.e. One of the first slabs down in the street and now looks like it'll be the last one complete. That being said, it's still within contract so I have to accept it. The building contract was signed in 2013, however the title was held up so wasn't issued until June 2014. It's been a long road up to this point and looks like it's gonna take a while yet!
Wish you all the best. Once you signed the contract, they will find millions excuses to charge you. And have seen their sites unfinished for a long time. 4 25848 I haven’t. But have a Lowe Design home. Not only did I find Matt Lowe patronising and a bully, but the home is NOT TO CODE. I have water coming through the bricks… 1 15663 Hi we are looking to talk to people who have built with them recently. We have signed mid range built contract but identified that a lot of things are not included.… 0 1739 |
